I was watching Hi My Sweetheart (海派甜心) TV series and I was staring at Rainie Yang's face in disbelief. It was unreal. By the time I got to the middle of the series, I started to ask myself: is she a genius actress? I mean, I've seen great actresses like ChénQiáo'ēn (陳喬恩), but I haven't seen anything like that. Rainie Yang's acting slowly builds throughout the series. You watch a scene where you think her acting couldn't be better, and then, before you know it, there is a scene with even greater acting. Usually, in a love story emotions are limited to joy and grief, but here, with so many twists in the plot, Rainie Yang gets an opportunity to show the breadth of her acting skill. There are scenes towards the end of the series where she has to be sarcastic, and she is brilliant there. She is incredibly funny when she is drunk. Her acting is magnificent in a scene where she is near death, standing with blood running on her face. And I'll never forget her scream in the climactic scene. She is perfectly natural and inseparable from her character. Among other actors in the series, Show Lo acts brilliantly, and is a very good match for Rainie Yang--but only after he changes his hairstyle. In the beginning of the series, for an unknown reason, his acting was so bad, I couldn't even watch it, and basically fast-forwarded the part of the series with his old haircut. Lǐ Wēi (李威) is a very good actor, but his character is kind of static. Lài Tíngjūn (賴亭君) is also an excellent actress--and the four of them form a topnotch ensemble in the outdoor episode. Wén Shuài (文帥), Wáng Yuè (王月), Maggie Wu (Wú Yàxīn) (吳亞馨), and a couple of other actors are also superb, but the rest of the cast's acting ranges from poor to atrocious (taxi driver is the worst). It is so unpleasant to see good and bad actors' faces in the same frame at the same time. Rainie Yang's art deserves a better entourage.
I love Rainie Yang, I love her long hair, looks beautiful, and her exceptional voice, I could hear her songs a thousand times and I still feel excited as if it were the first time I listen to them, to a memory the first time I went to tainan in taiwan to visit my grandmother's brother and they invited me to a rainie concert, an unforgettable experience, greetings from monterrey mexico/ me encanta Rainie Yang, amo su cabello largo, se ve hermosa, y su voz excepcional, pudeo escuchar mil veces sus canciones y me sigo emocionando como si fuera la primera vez que las escucho, a un recuerdo la primera vez que fui a tainan en taiwan a visitar al hermano de mi abuela y me invitaron a un concierto de rainie, una experiencia inolvidble , saludos de monterrey mexico
