Caterpillar launch new Cat 432 backhoe loader Peter Haddock talks to product expert Richard Maddocks

This is an in-depth interview taken at the Caterpillar training centre in Desford, with Peter Haddock of Content With Media talking to Caterpillar backhoe loader product specialist Richard Maddocks. Influencer and operator Nick Drew also features in this video, behind the wheel and joysticks.
What strikes you about this new UK built machine, is the detail Caterpillar has put into it, all with the operator in mind. It even has a touch screen in the cab for added security and configurability.
But the most impactful design change is its move to joystick control with its swivel seat, which allows the operator to position themselves in the optimised position for any job.
Even though the cab is the same size, it just feels bigger, as the move to joysticks made it possible to reconfigure the interior. What we really like is that Cat has thought about its customer needs with the ability to select options, as you would for specifying a luxury car.

It’s a nice machine but is it going to be a night mare to get repaired with all the extra electrics and pollution gear on it ,I don’t know
