What Akansha said is absolutelyy true.... sometimes five star hotels or restaurant spoil the real flavour of tea, moreover it costs 5 times more than normal teas available locally.....

Black tea actually should be prepared without any additives like milk or sugar to get its actual and perfect taste. Also the amount of tea leaves and water should be in a specific ratio to prevent the bitterness as in the case of Darjeeling or Assam tea.
exactly. cudos to you, you've got good knowledge of tea. People now a days call themselves chai connoisseur and drinks only milk tea with a shit ton of sugar.
Darjeeling tea is all about the flavour and it should be made without milk, sugar or any other ingredients.. And while making you should take really good care otherwise it will get bitter..

I think the black tea's of Darjeeling & Assam should be made lighter. It looks way more dark so they have felt so bitter. In Assam, we prefer having it without milk and it tastes really good.
Akanksha & Satty both of them must have regretted later on for not rating the very first Saffron Masala Tea as 10 😂😂

Eastern and north eastern region we love the black tea without anything and we don't boil our tea.. while in northern, central and western India people like their tea prepared in milk boiled for some time..

@@nilakshimalakar8874 It's done both ways to be honest with Assam tea. We do the boil with ginger etc. way as well as just pour hot water through tea leaves in chalni for simple black teas. NE definitely has more diverse ways of brewing and drinking tea than north/west as far as I know.
Any Darjeeling tea should be brewed with extra care to make it tasty. It's better than milk tea if it's made properly. The color of the tea was wrong here, it should have been lighter color.

Black tea isn't supposed to be crazy sweet like milk tea. Also if you boil it too much it will turn dark and taste bitter. Golden or light brown is the perfect colour. So no wonder it tasted bitter to you guys. Hopefully we'll get to see another tea tasting video with properly made black tea. 😊

darjeeling tea is supposed to be made without sugar and milk! also, it is about the flavor, not colour! the colour of darjeeling tea should be very light, as it is supposed to be used in a very smal quantity. I guess you guys used a lot of chai patta to make the tea, that is why it turned bitter!
Exactly. You can't just throw it in a pot and boil it. You need to know how to make it and how to enjoy the flavour. These people must have boiled it a lot.

I had the best tea in Darjeeling. It was black tea it was golden in colour. 20k per kg. Not too bitter amazing flavour.
I really like Darjeeling tea,and I can easily pay for it... I don't know how u made it that it is tasting bitter to u... There is a specific way to brew Darjeeling tea,it's definitely not bitter... Great aroma,great taste... I always have good quality Darjeeling tea at my house.. Yeah,it is expensive, but it's love... ♥️♥️

Black tea is not supposed to be boiled along with water.. you should just add chai Patti just 5-6 sec bfr turning of the gas.. agar boil karoge toh karwa lagega.. may be bcz of that assam tea and darziling tea karwa laga hoga..

Black tea with lemon("lebu cha") is like a regular thing here in Bangladesh though milk tea is most popular. I didn't know it's not that common in India. But for "rong/lebu cha" the colour should be lighter. You guyz should definitely try that. Very refreshing.

Darjeeling tea should be made properly so the colour you will get is lighter than that so thats not darjeeling teas fault its your people’s fault🙏🏼 so when you go home please do try making tea properly with less leaves and make it light🙏🏼

Darjeeling tea was not prepared properly that's why it tasted bitter. Darjeeling tea has a sweetness of its own and doesn't need sugar and also it should not be boiled. Half a teaspoon is enough to get a nice fragrant cup of tea.
