This story made me had a panic attack. I’m shaking… My sister done this to me but instead of 3 years… it’s been 8 years for me …. I been taking care of both kids when I was still in high school…. It was so hard to try to sign up for college without getting embarrassed by my mom behavior as well my niece stomach problems… i couldn’t do online school without hearing my sister kids screaming & crying as well my mom yelling at them as well trying to control them . I gave up being a sketch artist or even being a tattoo artist… I still cry every time I see posts from my old friends from high school how they lived a life while I am stuck being a full time babysitter . I haven’t been paid in years & im at my last dollar, I can’t even afford to buy my private stuff anymore. I been alone for so long it’s so hard to even go out without getting so depressed about seeing someone you know having the best time while you are stuck holding bags of groceries & a child that isn’t yours. Having gray hair even though you are still 23 years old. More drained as ever . But seeing your sister barely breaking a sweat or watching her bring in boxes of clothes or new new & still saying she doesn’t have any money. While you wasted your years babysitting & struggling to keep yourself together without having a mental breakdown every single day
Well the tough answer for people in this situation is to call CPS no kids no babysitting. Or simply run away to a woman shelter and hopefully they can set you on track for a good life. I'm very sorry btw. If you're being forced into slavery like that you don't have many good options. But it is possible to start living your own life and if they won't change then you have to make a change.
Threaten her with cps then if she doesn’t comply and drops of her kids anyway… Ask one of your friends if they can look after them for because you need a break. If it works and she comes back to just you, no kids say “you should of listened” then go to your friends house, grab the children and go home also tell her “if you love them so much don’t leave them with me and don’t overwork yourself
no one can make u do anything if she dropped her kids off call cps and the cops for child abandonment clearly this sister doesn’t sound competent at all to even be near a child let alone called a mother
those family members who say op has to do it can do it themselves, op doesnt have to ruin their future for someone elses kid, if the sister copensated and respected ops time then fine but no, she streated op like a free nanny and still expected to have another kid
