some people need to understand, gods are immortal by age. Once they lost something, it’s gone for good. When humans lose something, they recover because life is too short for them and they eventually meet their loved ones in the afterlife, but not for gods. Unless someone/something kills them, they have to live without it forever. I love that they try to understand her and give her a chance, not forgive or hate her.
I really love that you really show them and give her a chance because it's like, I see so much hostility to them, for not always being perfect, and I'm talking about the gods, but people forget that the gods are like people imperfection can make some mistakes so to show that she had friends and a family is everything because it puts her humanity back into her for them they don't see her humanity it's a damn shame really she snapped over time i would to my family and friends dead I all the sudden have to run a position by myself that I've never done before and take on the responsibilities of every thing i used to be an Ei disliker but now I'm not Zhongli was so smart to teach his people to survive without him because if they thought hay our god is coming all the time they won't bother to defend themselves so he's smart for that venti TvT I'm a mixed bag for him he still a bad apple🍎 for me right now but yeah thank you for making this video more than just a dislike for her, I feel like people have also biased towards her in these petty i hate Ei videos without understanding her
The issue with anyone ever forgiving her in these videos is that it ignores the years of war she put her people through She was hurt don’t get me wrong but she hurt so many others the same way, To an extent that shouldn’t be forgiven The gods of Teyvat are at least somewhat supposed to protect their people, Ei did the opposite and hurt them for centuries To put it simply she doesn’t make a good god, She failed at being one, I suppose it makes sense though, She was never supposed to be a god Anyways I like Ei as a character but in character she has done many horrible things
Nice video for the most part 9:00 she says she remembers this war, She wouldn’t those wars happend when Ei was Makotos shadow at minimum that means they were 500+ years ago, She is only 500ish years old herself At least from what I remember from the lore lol, Yae is quite young compared to Ei lol Again from what I remember from the lore tho lol, I haven’t really checked it since Inazuma ended so I could be wrong

Tbh genshins “gods” don’t even feel like gods. Most of them are just humans who bare immense power and responsibility
