From watching the VHS copied by a high school kid in '97 to today, finishing watching 3.0+1.0, hard to believe all that time has passed. It will always have a special place in my heart, thank you Mr. Anno.
I started watching Evangelion a few months ago actually didn't think that this anime has such a huge *impact* for me mentally and physically, its in my top anime and to think there's an rebuild version just makes me even more happier ank knowing that Hideaki Anno has finished the series with thrice upon a time is really sad and happy to hear but nonetheless anyway thank you Hideaki Anno for makind Evangelion even though I know I'm not a long fan of this series considering I've just watched this series a few months back, but I really appreciate it and because of that I'm gonna watch more 90s anime instead of hoping new bland anime that will comes out every so often now.
I first watched the original NGE and EOE this summer. Came across this AMV about a week after I finished. I don't know if I'll ever watch the Rebuilds but the art is beautiful in both the old and the new. EOE is one of maybe a dozen pieces of art that have actually haunted me in my life, it's so disturbingly beautiful. I love this story and what it says about the human condition and I just wanted to say I watch this AMV a few times a week now.
My suggestion would be to watch the Rebuilds in a few months, or years, whenever you miss the series and want to get back to it. They give some interesting twists to the original story.
I must say each anime kw watch I say it's the best but after watching Evangelion. Nothing not even a single anime will change my mind and say it's the best. Neon Genesis Evangelion the best anime tk ever exist.
Evangelion teach me to stand up no matter what in the most realistc way possível, no matter how bad things are, it can né better, but depends on you to make It better.
