- Historically, Klik and Mintika passes were frequently crossed by Buddhist pilgrims and traders along the ancient Silk Route.
The trek offers breathtaking landscape and could be rated as one of the easiest trekking route in Gilgit-Baltitan.
The trek brings you back to the times when trading caravans, British explorers and mail runners passed through this geo-strategic area.
This video documents the activities of a group of trekkers who traveled to the Kilik and Mintika pass. It contains the sounds, visuals and sights of the place they saw. Watch it till the end.

How exactly does the pass comes under India? The Gilgit agency (as well as wazarat) was acceded to Pakistan by Major William Brown (the military administrator of Gilgit Agency).
We won't accept the false accession of Jammu and Kashmir by the *Hindu* maharaja to Endia.
J&K was and will always be a Muslim majority state
