Thank you for your reply. I have the corded one that has more blending heads, but i really want to get the cordless. I guess I’ll find out then if I can interchange parts.
Yes, you can blend pretty much any hot liquid with this. I use it just about every day to blend some coconut oil and protein powders into either coffee or tea. It should do a great job with any instant hot cocoa or coffee.
I don't think this has the power to crush ice. It is really meant for a quick blending of hot/softer foods. Crushing ice requires more power than you are going to get from a small battery-powered appliance.
Actually yes it does. I've watched several videos now because I'm researching getting one of these. The person I saw blending ice even used those big square ice cubes you make in a tray. You just have to make sure that you blend it well because they did miss crushing one of the ice cubes in their smoothie. But it appeared to work well if you blend it enough.
Thanks for the review. Are the parts interchangeable with the corded KitchenAid immersion blender?
I don't have the corded one, so I'm afraid I can't answer that.

Sarcasm has gone unnoticed for 10 months... Impressive
Does it cursh ice well or crush frozen strawberries (like when one makes a smoothie)?
