I rediscovered this song last year in the biggest depression of my life (I’m 21) and I played it over and over again to find motivation to get out of bed (I may have also cried to it 😬😬)
I remember going to the US for the first time in 2004 on Holiday (from the UK), and listening to this on my iPod on the plane imagining what life would be like as a teen in the US. The nostalgia, this and the Breakaway album by Kelly.
