Greek gods were the same Cain, Canaanite, Nimrod Babylonian gods [oracles, astrology, divination, necromancy, ritual sacrifices, orgies et al] transferred to different cultures thru name changes. There was remnant of Judah that rejected the Hellenistic polytheism and recognized Jesus as the Promised Redeemer. They were spiritually aware, not interested in political “salvation”. We owe a lot to the early followers of Jesus. Through them, the world received the Good News.
