Thanks for the review Brian. What do you think of the coupe? I'm looking for a 2022 or early 2023 430i xdrive before the touch screen interior update.

I think we’ve got a 2022 M440i xDrive coupe episode here. Haven’t tried that exact combination, but I think you’ll be happy.

The BMW 330i and 430i xDrive series are the sweet spot of great quality all seasons driving machine at affordable price... They do everything very good without breaking your bank account, that's why the resale value are the greatest in the luxury sport compact market !

I can't really disagree. I still prefer the inline sixes for their power and refinement.

@@BrianMakse I agree, if you can afford a M440i or a M340i it's the best bangs for the bucks.

Does this drive a lot smoother than the M2 or is the M2 much firmer or harder on roads. Comfort wise how would you compare the two? I’m trying to decide between keeping my 230i base or trading up to the M2. I know you’ve tested both the 230i and the M2.

This is a lot softer than the M2 for sure. Depends on what you’re looking for with the driving experience. The M2 isn’t just quicker. It’s more responsive in every way. But the trade off is that the ride is harder. I think you need to try one on the worst road that you drive…and I hope you find the M2’s ride acceptable because it’s a delightful car.

@@BrianMakse - Thanks! My dealer has a non-refundable $2k deposit after they an allocation and ordering time from factory. The good news is they will sell me an M2 at MSRP WITHOUT a markup. The bad news is they won’t let me have a refund after I see it and drive it , if I don’t like it. I’ve never purchased a car especially this expensive - OTD $75k - without driving it first! I will probably cancel my purchase if they insist on this deal. I don’t want to risk losing my $2,000 deposit if I see it and don’t like driving it because it’s too harsh. Would you buy a car without first seeing it in person and driving it.

Great review as always. Also, nice to hear BMW can do a sporting suspension that isn’t unnecessarily stiff.

Ok but seriously, nose jokes aside, this BMW is a very desirable car. I would love to drive one. Thank you for the intelligent review.
