What are your thoughts on a Cam Motion LS3 Titan 1 217/225 .595/.587 114+2 for a daily driven 268k+ mile G8 ? Driveability good on stock converter ? Have had it about 2 years but haven't installed it yet. Thanks for all the great content and info you guys give the G8/PPV guys !
Looking for your opinion, just put a PPV on the dyno, we installed headers, lsx 102 manifold and intake and the car made 367, in 3rd. Do you think this makes sense with DOD intact?
Do you guys have any experience with JBA shorty headers on a G8? Are shortys in general on these cars worth it? With how restrictive the factory cats are I don't think any shorty would be worth much peak power but would they at least help with the tune to make a cammed car drive a bit easier?

Getting the LT w/Cats from ARH was the initial plan when I bought the car but after having to actually take the car in to get inspected the CARB-EO headers that I can install myself and not need a tune don't seem like a bad project while saving for a cam and other parts I can't install myself.@@FredRTP96
@@nufnuffz28 It was a bit of a pain but they fit... But I must have put some strain on the radiator while getting them in because the upper hose flange/barb broke off while driving and the motor got hot and I think I blew a head gasket. :( I guess I have to cam it up now. lol
@@nufnuffz28 how much power do the kooks make over the speed engineering headers? ive seen one of your videos where a btr stage1 v2 still made over 400 to the tire with speed engineering headers, For a substantially less cost they seems like the bargain header to get? Thanks

I'm assuming yall are doing trunnion upgrades or true rollers on all these cam swaps yall are doing?
On mild setups we sometimes leave them stock(dependingon the build, of course).
We have seen a lot more aftermarket setups fail than factory.
Have you guys seen a major difference in rotofab vs vcm intake? Hp and iat’s ?
On tbe dyno no, track seems to favor the VCM

About right. Headers and cam are the combo on these for sure. They go hand amd hand

We had bad luck with fitment. You need high flows at least on these. Skip the shorties!

Bought kooks long tubes/exhaust for my fbody. The ppv aint getting that kind of love, can you recommend any other header options?
We like the good ones to be honest (kooks or ARH)
