So no sealer is necessary after the final layer of epoxy has been placed?
I have been making tumblers but frustrated that I have been sealing the cup bc one of my tumblers was tacky. My instructions on the 2 part epoxy states that it takes three days to fully cure. You have been doing these for many years and many tumblers also. So imma give it a shot and only layer 3 times and not spray clear coat paint. I was ready to throw in the towel. You have inspired me to give it a shot again. Thanks Again 😊😊😊

Can I ask what epoxy are you using? After epoxy is applied there should be no need for any sealing 😊 I hope you get back into the groove and make beautiful things!

So if you get bubbles when applying the epoxy you can just spray with alcohol instead of using a heat gun?

Yes you can! Just not in excess. Spritz only.

Why do some people use glitter glue?

Do you mean glue to apply the glitter? Some people use Mod Podge to adhere their glitter. In my experience epoxy has better coverage and adheres better. Mod podge almost always requires a second coat and contaminates more of your glitter. I do use Mod Podge for certain, and very few tumbler methods if I have separate sections to glitter.
