Thanks For Getting Me Interested In The Logo Community!
10:07 Only Porygon can watch this logo.
Hi, Kai! I love your logo videos!
you should do scariest DVD/Blu Ray logos (If there are any scary Blu Ray logos)
10:13 clg wiki said that the date is 1988-1996, yes it says, i'm not joking
ngl for the 80s ive not really seen some great CGI so this is ok
🎃🎃
The sound at hikon film sounds like a monster coming to your room
It sounds like it's repeatedly saying pinecone
@@robinnico7702 im talking about the beat
That caution logo man voice was FUNNY
I was born in 2000 and lets just say I've seen some of those logos on VHS. The logo that I didn't like was the 80s Walt Disney home video red font. I had a vhs tape that was damaged from a flood when I was 3 years old. My brother and I wanted to watch a Disney film that night in my bedroom and as soon as we put it in, the beginning was black for about 5 mins and then it cut to the part of the masterpiece collection logo which was warped noise and created 2 headed tinkerbell. It was so damaged that we had to get rid of the tape. I forgot what movie but it was years ago.
I had yet to Mention this?.
Nightmare fuel : Hikon film logo from the mid 1980's ( Maybe before nintendo. )
type of variant : Big and scary eyeball zooming in the background that almost feel like an viacom V of doom starts with the purplish sky backgroun and the UFO appears of a moon
Phrase : " THE HIKON FILM" constantly sounds more like it's pinecone type voice
Scared or not scared : Absolutely Scary in our opinion
Rating on this logo : 7/10 not bad for a variant but bizzare
The music on the photo video logo is only sounds terrible because its distorted. And also the uav corporation logo that came before that one was actually louder.
I like all of the these just for the nostalgia, they don't really bother me. I can tell you have a lot of emotional responses to sounds in particular, has that always been the case? I was always fond of the MEDIA home video logo and music and the original New Line Cinema logo with flashing red letters from the mid 80s.
3:34 “Proceed with caution”
You mean “to” because the next logo was actually Caution.
3:58
About the Caution logo, there's another one with the guy howling.
4:55
Man: AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
YT CC: [Laughter]
The Polygram Video logo was used between 1993 and 1997.
Let’s review the bizarre/creepy/scary (and awesome) logos:
Hikon Film: Yes, there are bad visuals and the person saying “Hikon” constantly sounds more like “pinecone”. Not really scary, but personally a “So Bad It’s Good” logo.
Vadi-mon: I guess they focused more on the music than the animation. Also, what is up with the eyes in space? It’s just nothing but unnecessary!
Photo Video: Please don’t tell me you didn’t take drugs before making this logo, Photo Video! Also, even though I like the flower and fireworks, they’re just unnecessary. And it takes way too long. However, the logo IS excusable because they were a bankrupt company, according to No (the RUclipsr, this guy: ruclips.net/channel/UCd80ocM65yw6uh6GczhQmkg).
Caution Video screaming variant: I just laughed. That’s it.
Les Films René Malo: It does look advanced for it’s time.
UAV: Low budget CGI and a loud whoosh. Not scary to me, but just boring and dull.
USA Home Video: Weird. Just weird and badly done.
VTC: Is this a movie trailer or logo? It looks more like a movie trailer.
Worldvision Home Video: Honestly, I like the logo. Also, the text “HOME VIDEO INC.” dropping down kinda reminds me of a UFO landing.
Pony Canyon: Well, here we are. Another logo on drugs!
Mollin Video: The start of it sounds like the DTS trailer at the start. Also, this logo is incredibly CRAPPY!
Toppic Video: The woman screaming is just unnecessary, OK? The disco music is actually super catchy though.
Palace Video: It’s a pretty awesome logo, honestly.
Rex Films Home Video: This logo is seriously cheap, and the video quality is just bad at the start.
Interglobal Home Video: Cheesy indeed. Also, what is the point in using Christmas lights as stars? Still more interesting than it’s successor.
Legal Video: You know, for kids! The logo is cheap, the grid, light bulb, fire and explosion Ian just unnecessary and it’s just not kid-friendly, because of the eyes that look like a woman doing something inappropriate. Plus, they stole a song and the logo is just illegal. I would like the logo if it was called “Illegal Video”, because it would make more sense. It’s also not really scary at all.
PolyGram Video: Boring. Also, not really scary, but not really good, just basic, even if you compare it to it’s previous logo, which I like - a lot (trust me, their previous logo is actually my favourite VHS logo of all time).
Roadshow/Lorimar Home Video: I kinda like the logo, and you also used that as an intro for this video.
KM Video: And here is another acid trip. It’s just badly done.
Roadshow Home Video: It’s a pretty awesome logo as well.
That’s is all for my reviewing. Also a nice video.

Nah it sounded like iPhone to me

3:38, the music is originally good (Equinoxe 5, by Jean Michel Jarre) but photo video changed the quality for some reason.

4:54 Imagine that's you when you step on a Lego
Lol ye
I have a small soft spot for the cheesy cheap 80s synths
The eye logos scare me the most like Fabrica, Vadimon and Hikon Film
The only logo with a non-scary eye is the CBS logo.
you both were same to me! Also you made me spilt my lemon juice when you say eye logos is the scariest.
Yes, i always scared to many eyes design (i've oculophobia ) but the worse is from Videodrome trailer!😰😰😱😱😱😱 ruclips.net/video/bjkK3Hnjy8s/видео.html The scary lighting, demonic and robotic eyes on the blue face (and 3D horrible women's faces and others things) on "Videodrome" 3D cheesy and trailer by computer Commodore 64!
And legal one
@@LuOli2Wrong. Im SCARED About The EYE Logos Like CBS,Hikon Films,Fabrica,Vadimon & Legal Video S.A.
Most of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers videos have this PolyGram Video logo intact
I probably remember it on that then. Not sure what show I watched as a kid that had this but it scared me.
Also the logo was used from 1993 to 1997
As well as the O.G. Candyman (1992).
Hikon film was an flowing eye
Vadimon is.... *insert thomas scared face here*
To me, the Topic Vdeo is the most bizarre and creepy. It’s almost like with the scream someone is being killed and then afterwards the band starts up to celebrate that the person is dead. It’s weird to hear something happy after something so possibly tragic.
Hikon: You Know at first, I thought this was some sort of high quality Indian logo from the 90s (or at least as high quality as you can get). Anyways, this logo, I think, is supposed to reference alan parson's eye in the sky, but it just feels like someone was stoned off their keester when making this. Worst part is that it's either quiet or loud, so it's almost like russian roulette
Vadimon: Ah yes, a classic on your channel, If it weren't for those eyes at the beginning, i'm sure nobody would bat an eyelid at it.
Photo: This is why greece should stick with mythologies
Caution: a naked man screaming for no reason. It's the most useless logo ever, as it has zero purpose
Les Filmes Rene Mano: Absolutely beautiful, animation feels so charming and the music is very nice to listen too.
UAV ah yes, the guys who distributed AN ANT'S LIFE!!! This is a really bad hair day for flik.
U.S.A: When I hear that name, I think of fireworks, american flag, red white and blue, not something that feels so .. lifeless.
VTC Not terrible but feels like a demo reel for an obscure company.
Worldvision: A classic by all means. and crown movie classics stole this music
Pony Canyon: Okay we only have 10 minutes to make a logo for our japanese video company, and we only have a primitive 3d animation software and 14 bags of mushrooms, and this is what they gave us.
Mollin: Mollin, finnish for minor, and norwegian for the moth. don't ask me how that fits
Topic Video: WHY THE SCREAM!! Isn't this company for children!
Palace Video: One of my personal favorites.
Rex Films: It just drags on and on and on making it less scary
Interglobal: I enjoy the music in this one
Legal Video: AAH WHAT IS THAT!!! Those Eyes are Traumatizing! Why did they have to put them there the entire logo.
Polygram Video: I feel nothing
Roadshow Lorimar: eh, I've seen worse
KM Video: Same as Rex Films, It's too long
Roadshow Home Video: A classic on your channel
USA Home Video: I’m mean it’s alright like.
Palace Video: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Les Films René Malo: it’s wonderful it’s more than wonderful. ITS AMAZING.
Worldvision home video: it reminds me in Moog Statement 14.
Roadshow Lorimar Home Video: JESUS LOGO IS TERRIFYING.
Roadshow Home video (1985): that logo takes me to heaven.
There is one with the guy howling too that one is funni and kinda scary and kinda loud
The palace video is good

I love palace videos logo it's like very halloweenish I love the haunted house on there it's very classic but I lived in the mid90s-2000s when vhs was still around there were some logos that made me go and hide ironically now I love watching them but there is one called star Maker that was pretty scary also the PS1 logo got to me as a kid there is a list of them that goes on. DVDs don't really have many vhs oddly had scary logos that boomed.
🎃💀
13:14 I think they should have named their company Rex Films or Rex Home Video. Rex Films Home Video sounds like a mouth-full.
The vhs that said title name here was called km video

The Pony Canyon logo used was displayed during the years 1985-1996
For 11 years
Even tho cool 3d thing in the 80s and 90s
USA video music reminds me of Viacom

Oh theres yapping in this WOW
Me vibing with 14:10!!!
Then again I see a lot of logos use space backgrounds. Interglobal Video, Orion, & Universal make sense using the space background.
I want to know the song in Topic Video, minus the screaming.
18:19 Ah yes, my favorite logo; *_T I T L E T E X T H E R E_*
Probably the longest KTLG video ever.
Apao Tangahu definitely. I made it cause it was originally going to be an top 10 but I got so much suggestions that it is a massive bunch of logos.

HOLLA at me if anybody knows the VHS logo for a ''Transfer'' it was proably from 1985/86, it start with a space screen followed by red lighting and then diffirents colours and a thunder sound, then the word Transfer comes up and becomes a sillhoutte if i remember right
15:08 I bet they would be making adults films.
Agreed

About photovideo, idk what was the point of the flashing lights and the weird music.
10:07 logo from 1984
9:12 - As seen on VHS copies of various Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
The logo wasn’t that bad for its time, even the TV part of the logo from 1988 through 1997 looks the same, but the swoosh sound was stolen from “The Great Giana Sisters”, the first “Super Mario Bros.” ripoff for the Commodore 64, and of course, the low toned version of the “Moog Statement 13” by the KPM Music Library.

17:18 Roadshow lorimar home video is from 1986-1988
Similar to the US version, the US version had the Karl-Lorimar and Lorimar Home Video logos from that time period had different synth fanfare than this. But this was only on the Australian VHS releases of Karl-Lorimar and Lorimar content.
UAV is also known for making an ants life, a shitty movie.
