We suggest you start with stocks first as it is unleveraged, and you should first learn what a trading plan and risk management are above anything else!
Gotta add that if you drop down in timeframe ya might wanna pull ur targets in a bit or at least scalp out that first unit pretty quick if ur looking at higher time frame targets.
I feel like if you tell thinking of trading with 100 bucks. Just paper trade with a respectable amount of money and save up to get like a few grand into your account, that way you learn all that good stuff without being bankrupt if you do something dumb like I did when I paper traded.
Trading you own money vs a demo is very different psychologically. Regardless of size, a demo can inflate someone’s ego. I recommend starting small and working nano lots.

I’m going to switch to a real account, and now, I have a better understanding of what I will try to do and use a very safe strategy to grow my account. If I had gone straight in, I wouldn’t have realized all the obvious mistakes I was making and could’ve blown up the account had it been real money. As long as you realize that this demo accounts isn’t *real* experience, its fine.

Hard advice everyone. Without a proper positive mindset you will blow your account. Mentally if you do not trust yourself to use proper risk management, do not trade, just learn from professionals and videos. Mental game > trading
Nano lot is only possible in Cent account. If anyone wondering abt nano accout than go to Roboforex pro cent accout or insta forex. It has high spreads but its good. I hace EA on cent account so its like 2, 3 euro a day profit
Nano lots = Nano profits So even if you make profits you will be frustrated and it doesn’t make sense. In my opinion don’t go below Micro lots, they are very reasonable to start with.
If you are trading a $100 account (which for some can only afford that much), and you want to apply proper risk management on that account such as risking only 1% or 2% per trade Then trading Nano lots makes sense!

is it reasonable to expect 100% annual return if you can make 8% a month while still only risking 1-2% max per trade?
It's not reasonable to always expect something from the markets, keep on focusing and improving your process, and let the profits come unconsciously!
