I couldn't imagine anyone covering any of Erykah Badu's songs, especially this one. I tip my hat. This was a great rendition.

Just so you know, I have in fact responded to your reply on my comment on the video about whether or not Mendeeces is snitching (not remembering the title) that you made yesterday. You can head on over and take a look. She has an impeccable sound nevertheless!

You changed to whole meaning of the song and as a black man I’m not happy about that! Black women were just starting to sing about being loved by us! And you wonder where we have gone!!! Thank you Angie Stone, Jill Scott and Erykah for loving us enough to share your heart about us. We do stand alone, and want to turn to you! Peace and love❤️

Lmao. Nothing wrong with a self love version. Stop crying and go listen to the other one. 😂

This song has nothing to do with a human form. My baby is my daughter. My Goddess is who this song is about. I am the she who was all alone. Listen. Wow!

@@Aquilahthe1 This is why you are alone! You need to listen! She is an Orange moon reflecting the light of Her sun! How good it is!

I agree she destroyed or attempted to destroy a tribute from our Goddess. But trick no good because I clearly see her. No Erykah Badu at all

@@Aquilahthe1hey this is a tribute song to black love not anything else. Appreciate the art form enough not to alter its original intent. Goddess you are who we love. Why turn us against you? Or attempt to. Clarity is a small price to pay to avoid vilification of our people.

You destroyed the tribute to black men intended my the artist. Smh this is not a song for untraditional relationships that don’t bear fruit.
I only wish you could consider our struggle as a people and not be so selfish to only think of yourself. Many will celebrate blindly as do usual of songs vilifying African Americans males daily.
