Sounds great! I've been doing similar stuff lately with my Crave, Neutron, Pro-1 and my new Eowave Quadrantid Swarm. Setting up generative patches is like a form of meditation
Beautiful Sound. I love the slew on the Bass. Last year I was thinking how cool it would be to have the cables light up in vcv rack. Would not have thought that such a thing is even possible in real hardware :)
Thanks! 🙏😎 Analogue Solutions LED ones. It takes a little bit of juice away, but perfect for modulations! I was chasing some blue ones too, but could not find any... I mean there is plenty out there to watch on RUclips, I just can not find them. 😀
I made about 30 light jacks (bipolar LEDs + one 470 ohm resistor inside a Jack) in about 60 minutes. Red is positive, Blue is negative voltage. Purple is alternating positive and negative values (typically noise or audio signals). But yes, LED cables do exist as well.
Hey im the one who asked about the Progressive attack midis this is my artist account your channel is nice want to support! Im on SoundCloud to 😅 but my music is not the best yet I still learn very many new things about mixing and mastering don’t be to critical if you hear my music😁
Thank you for the kind words! 🙏🙂 Most importantly, it was a great experience to patch it. 👍 I think with modular or semi modular, it’s the journey that matters most. 🙂
Cheers! 🙏🙂 Yes, the Crave is doing the highest pitch and keeps panning left to right. Neutron does the bass and the middle pitch. The Neuton receives the midi and plays the same, but I tuned the oscillator down a 4th. I disconnected the other oscillator, so it is just droning on the same pitch forever (bass). It was a bit monotonous, so I decided to modulate its pitch with a square LFO up and down. Just open the VCA bias so it can be heard all the time. Other than that, it’s just a lot of random modulation from S&H and LFO. You can download the Crave pattern and the patch sheet to recreate it for free! You will need some stackable cables and splitters! Then, all you need is some chorus, reverb and delay to bring it to life! Let me know if you have any questions! 👍🙂
@@TheHorseValse Very nice, wow. Going to listen to it on some nice speakers when I get home. I have owned most of the Behringer synths and have to say, even though it doesn’t have a massive range of sound, the Crave is one of the best tone-wise that they’ve made.
Oh, cool! I only have these 2 for now, Model D is on it’s way. I would like to try them all just like you! Based on RUclips videos the K-2 and the Pro-1 are the ones I most looking forward to! 🙂
Hi, I like it a lot but can you explain more about the wiring? is it correct Crave's MIDI Out to Neutron's MIDI in ? Whose audio-output is taken? (Crave?, Neutron?, Both?)
Thanks! 😀 Yes, crave Midi out to Neutron. Both have their own audio recorded at the same time, with separate outputs. Sorry for not indicating this on the patch sheet. After recording I discovered that LED patch cables draw more current than standard ones, so some of the synth parameters related to LED cables must be lowered for normal cables. Let me know if I can help with anything.

Very well done. I have both the Crave and Neutron, will try this, and other variations of this patch setup, many thanks for posting.
🙏 Thank you! They are a lot of fun together indeed! 🤩

Thanks! Oh, nice! I want a Pro-1! 😀 I agree, it is so calming and almost therapeutic. Hours of flow state 😀
excelent patch !
Thank you very much! 🙏

@@mutedsounds2k Making your own cables? Cool! 😃
Wonderful sounds! I'm also liking the star interconnects and flashing leads.
Thank you! 🙂 The stars are Black Market Modular Monomults, and the flashing leads are Analogue Solutions LED cables. 👍
@@TheHorseValse Thanks!
Cheers! 🙏🙂
Nice sound,nice patch👌
Cheers, Tom! Much appreciated! 🙏🙂
Nice work! It sounds so relaxing. Wouldn’t be out of place at a yoga class 😄
Cheers! 🙏 The most calming part is actually patching it. Relax, flow state. 🙂
Lovely sounds !
Thank you, Mx White! 🙏🙂 It almost ate up all my cables! I did not expect to use so much when I started to patch… 😂
You are crazy, man!
Quite right! 🤪🤣
Gentle waves. ty
Thank you! 🙏🙂
Reminds me of the Deep Space 9 theme
🙏 Cheers!
Impressive
Thank you so much! 😀
Sounds 👍
Thank you so much! 🙂

Do not worry, we are in the same boat! I am learning too! Besides, you make much more tracks than I do, so you will learn quicker! 👍😀
A dizzying array of connections but, darn, does it sound good.

Is it the Crave making the brass sounds? Anyway, great vid, I have these and no idea how you did it!

Awesome. Did you make a patching chart.
Thank you! 🙂 Yes, it is free to download from several different places. You can find the links in the video description.
