That mic sounds surprisingly detailed and stout for it's size! I know of some condensers like the classic Blue Yeti that sound "tinny" in comparison. Sidenote : Why does my mind shout "Melda" with their logo? 😅

The UM2 came in yesterday and I tried simply using my M3 MacBook Pro’s headphone port and the UM2 saw the signal but it didn’t pass on to the PS4. My dream: One cable going into the PS4 and I can have all my audio come from OBS on the Mac. Im nuts I think. Not much going on up here 👉🧠🤤 PS. I have a simple USB 2.0 dongle with a 3.5mm jack on it. Don’t know TRS/TRRS, but ima try that, too.
Are you using the Recording/Streaming function of the PS4? I'm just trying to figure out why you want to input Computer audio to the PS4 instead of the other way around. I'm an Xbox gamer so I haven't looked at all the technical abilities of the PS4. I know you can use USB mics with the PS4 - but not sure if there's a way to input other audio sources. Your best bet is to flip it around. Output the PS4 audio into the computer. Again, I don't know your setup, so I may be telling you things you already know. Then the PS4 (including all audio) will be routed into OBS (or whatever you like: Streamlabs, RECentral, etc...) along with your USB Mic or audio interface, plus any other PC based sounds. You can record or stream it all from your computer then. *It might also be a good idea to invest in a Windows computer since they are still better for gaming and streaming. I have a Macbook too, but I don't use it for gaming/streaming for several reasons. If you insist on using Mac, you might want to look into an app called Loopback from Rogue Amoeba. It can help you freely route Mac audio in ways that are not possible natively. Yeah the UNI 2 especially sounds good. It was surprising how it stacked up against my trusty SM7dB.
And you're right, the AA looks similar to Melda 🤣
