It's wild that MK just keeps getting better and is consistently delivering these high-octane performances. Breathtaking, and such a fresh take...she's singing every word with such meaning and passion. Bravo!
@@Potato-so6zr And maybe that is her take on the character at that particular moment, but at least to me (my opinion of the character haha) she is out to deceive and put total fear into all the citizens about Elphaba.
@@Potato-so6zrHaving seen her live, that’s definitely a through-line of her whole performance as Morrible. She portrays the character as increasingly terrified of her own choices to keep doing awful things to maintain her position. Unlike other Morribles, whose character arcs peak here, hers doesn’t peak until March of the Witch Hunters. I can’t help but wonder if the current real-world political climate is influencing her take.

What a refreshing take- enunciates yet maintains clarity in her voice and doesn’t overact- thx 4 sharing!
I love Donna McKechnie!
6:02 really was a choice 🤩
Beautiful!
I’ll be there tonight! 💚🫧
unreal
Do you have no good deed or the wizard and I?
Not to be critical, but Alexandra's glinda voice sounds a bit too old
orchestra rushing a lot
I am not trying to be critical, but Donna's Morrible speech is underwhelming...
It seems more frantic than deceiving
