I have a little theory on why the wendigos fight each other here. I think the alpha wendigo possessing Hannah knew it had Josh as a backup since, depending on your actions, Josh is still alive but trapped somewhere in the mines. So it takes out the competition and then immediately goes to possess Josh afterwards. That or it didn't want the other wendigos taking its food like most predators fighting over prey.
4:20 The way Wendigo Hannah grabs that other wendigo, I think she recognized Sam and saved her life to letting her to blow up the cabin to put her out of her misery.

The ithaquas of until dawn surprised me in a variety of ways. The good animation, the fact that the freaky zombie is actually their original version, that they still have some humanity left, and that they are actually killed with fire (as manitu intended) was genuinly enjoyable to watch.
Well the miner Wendigos were locked up in the sanatorium by the hunter while Wendigo Hannah was the only one free. So they couldn't have met eachother.

If it’s one thing supermassive does right it’s creature design and subverting your expectations. The Wei go will always be my favorite design but I feel like they took inspiration from this when designing the creatures in House of Ashes and the Quarry

I always wonder how the flamethrower guy was able to kill the Makkapitew but not Hannah . I guess he made a good point when he said “ we’re out in the open and we have to get out of here”. Fighting a Wendigo in a Corredor is much easier than her being in the woods where they can jump you anywhere. As for the Makkapitew his back was against a cliff So there was no jumping him from behind
I'd say Until Dawn and Fallout 76 have the most accurate depictions of Wendigo's, considered they're just people who've been possessed because they ate humans out of survival

This game was so good except the motion control element completely ruined it for me i was almost to the best ending but in the middle of all these mini games my controllers sensor glitched out and made me fail and all my characters die one after the other

When continue reading through her diary her hand writing goes crazy saying creeping shit showing that shes changing and getting possesed and eventually it can no longer be read and its just massive scribles across the pages. Really messed up stuff.

The quarry is a great one (available on Xbox free to play with a gamepass subscription or PC if you buy gamepass ultimate) if you haven’t played (no spoilers/at least no serious spoilers) the game has a INSANELY good take on a CLASSIC monster that I’ve never seen done in such a good way Game has a good story and surprisingly realistic choices where there are more fight back options and not just run hide you CAN fight (for spoiler reasons I won’t say if it works or not or if some methods work and others don’t) but it is an option and it’s whole layout is very similar to this game

How Hannah turn into Wendigo?
She was trapped in a cave in mountain that is cursed of the wendigo curse,and because of hunger she had to eat human flesh and the wendigo spirit possessed her and turned her into one

@@gleove1And it was her dead sister she ate cause u find her head on top of her grave which hannah made for her which was found by emily and sam later finds her diary which confirms it sense she says shes sorry over and over and that she doesnt have a choice or something among them lines. And in order to become a wendigo the person needs to resort to canabilism due to hunger and the only thing she was able to eat where hannah was is her dead sister. When continue reading through her diary her hand writing goes crazy saying creeping shit showing that shes changing and getting possesed and eventually it can no longer be read and its just massive scribles across the pages. Really messed up stuff.

Ill never how people play boring ass games like this. Like lil to no gameplay. It's just choose option 1 or 2.
Because people enjoy a good story. Or at least, people with more than half a brain.
It’s far more immersive than it seems it just takes you needing to think what would I do in this situation
And the story makes you like characters and since their lives depend on your choices you actually are punished for your actions
Compared to games that aren’t “boring” you die reque up play again repeat at worst you lose some rank points😂 idk that seems pretty boring to me

The quarry is a great one (available on Xbox free to play with a gamepass subscription or PC if you buy gamepass ultimate)
if you haven’t played (no spoilers/at least no serious spoilers) the game has a INSANELY good take on a CLASSIC monster that I’ve never seen done in such a good way
Game has a good story and surprisingly realistic choices where there are more fight back options and not just run hide you CAN fight (for spoiler reasons I won’t say if it works or not or if some methods work and others don’t) but it is an option and it’s whole layout is very similar to this game
