  • The Summit BPX Series BoxPlanes are a patent pending U.S. made Summit Tractors exclusive, manufactured in Wisconsin. A true “2 for 1” implement, the BoxPlane does the work of both a box scraper and a land plane without requiring the purchase of two attachments and having to switch between the two to produce the very best results to meet your grading needs.

    Built my land plane with a hydraulic end gate back in 2018. Really good at limiting the amount of material coming out the back.

    That hydraulic top link makes the transition from Box Blade to Smooth Grading so easy. With the hydraulic top link setup, another auxiliary hydraulic port is required for the Box to Scraper feature you mentioned?

    • @summittractors
      @summittractors  Год назад +1

      Hello Brian! To use a hydraulic top link and hydraulic cylinder on the BoxPlane, you would need to add a hydraulic multiplier to allow for more remotes.

    Very nice! Did the TX25 handle the 60"...in your opinion?...or do you think the 48" would be better? Thx for the vid.

      The 60" in the recommended size for the TX25H!

  • @CVP100
    @CVP100 2 месяца назад

    The TX25 is a nice tractor and offers a lot of features but it's size and HP will substantially limit what it can do. It has a hydraulic flow of only 4.8gpm and the loader limit is just 1100 lbs and rear lift is 1160 lbs at 24". It should be fine for around 5 or so acres. I'm sure Summit will be making tractors in the 35hp to 50hp range which better fits most peoples needs. 20 thousand for a small tractor that's limited by it's size and HP would not be on my list. I own a 70HP New Holland and 50HP John Deere....

      Hello! As long as those tractor models come with a category 1- 3pt hitch, they should be compatible. However, you may want to double check specifications with the tractor manufacturer.

    I like my Gannon 6 way all hydraulic scraper box, if I want material to escape I can just adjust box front up and the rear blade acts as a gauge. Rippers are hydraulic also. I don’t see any advantage with this box.

    #1 - Safety. Don't work with your feet or any other body part under a raised implement or attachment unless you have something under it to prevent it from falling. I cringed watching this guy sticking his feet under the blade. #2 - I don't understand why the 3-point implements for today's small tractors are built with such lightweight material. I have 70-year old plows and angle blades around here that came with Ford 9N's and 8N's that would still function just fine if they were called into duty. I doubt if this Boxplane will be able to make that claim.

  • @aircommuter

    That guy needs some lessons on material moisture and compaction, he is just making a dusty mess for that driveway. Also he is segregating his material without proper moisture. Notice he is always working on nearly flat conditions. I have been a licensed general engineering contractor for over 40 years.
