Choose it. It is the highest Practice we must strive for as is described in simile (sorry out of season in reading, I am mentally troubled and am working out my salvation) in second Timothy 2:12 how that for the elect that they may obtain.
Faith alone in Christ alone is salvation, which leads to repentance.
Gospel of Salvation
KJV 1Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures...
This is about reigning with Christ if Christian believers suffer and not deny him, the Lord Jesus will not deny such believers reigning with him, for not every Christian will reign with the Lord, however, the believer is saved. Once saved always saved but the back sliding Christian loses rewards. These verses do not refer to salvation at all but the reward of reigning with Christ.
2Timothy 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Indeed we need the Lord Jesus to help us pray. The devil is always going to try everything to attack the mind of the believer to draw away from Christ.

My lord bishop my name is james. I have been becoming more and more christian over the past few years but what do you mean the spirit and soul are not the same thing?
A man is of three components; (1) body, the physical aspect, then the (2)soul, that is your mind, your consciousness, and this is enclosed by the body like a glove to the hand. Then the (3)spirit which comes from God, the breath of life. This spirit goes back to God the moment a person dies. The body goes to the grave and the soul goes to heaven for the believer in Christ and to hell for the unbeliever. The body of the Christian will be resurrected one day and put on immortality just as the Lord promised in his words that we, his children, are heirs to eternal life.
KJV 1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Divine sacrifice concept was prevalent in Roman Greek mythology, from there church & paul took it & corrupted Jesus' teachings, same in the case of monotheism to pagan trinity
Your comment shows you have not read the Holy Bible. Paul did not corrupt anything. God appointed him as apostle to the gentile world, to spread the gospel of salvation, which is the death, burial and resurrection of Christ according to scripture. If you do not accept the words of God as truth, that is your choice. We Christians accept the words of God to be pure and true and we abide by it.
