I THOUGHT IT WAS A GIANT SPIDER ON A WALL
🤣 still gets us every time!

That's what it looks like. How big would it have to be to cover a wall like that??!???😮
We all did
Even after watching the whole video, it took me way longer than I want to admit to realise it WAS'NT a spider in the wall!
I thought it was a basement wall on the Thumbnail and the spider as big as a living room carpet
😱
Me too!

That bed belongs to the spider now
Bed?? Lmao the entire neighbourhood is theirs now I'm moving out of state.
It always belonged to the spider...
You really sleep with that under your bed!!???

Can’t sleep anymore in my life
There is a statics about how many spiders you eat in your sleep in a normal year.
@@mweskamppp that statistic is a made up stat for a different study. It was made up to see how fast can misinformation spread over internet. There's no reason for spiders to go into your mouth since they prefer cold and super dry environments. People eat zero spiders during sleep. Google it.
@@mweskamppp0, no spider just go into your mouth for no reason, just to die
An actual monster under the bed.
Why does he still sleep there? I'd be so afraid of either the spider climbing onto my bed, or as soon as I step my feet on the ground my feet getting attacked 🫣
I can't believe I was afraid of the Boogeyman all this time😢
That looked absolutely massive out of context. Also how he is ok with that under his bed is psychotic
Right like minimum I’m sleeping somewhere else. Dude sleeps above death 💀

@Vor_Tex_Sun Yes, and all those will also grow the same size soon as well.
you must really love nature when its trying to take you out all the time
Nature is beatiful. That inclues the deadly animals, the harmless animals and of course, the amazing landscapes, lakes, mountains, terrain...

Thank you. The next time I see a spider the same size as me, and about to eat me,
I will think about the ecosystem.
Yeah no.
lol right, so he just let the spider live under the bed? silly AF.
Same size as me?? It's very small, same size of a cockroach.
Yeah, i think i'd rather protect myself first. Ain't no way I'm letting the most deadly spider on earth wander around.

Benefits of your workplace? 1 million little spiders and 1 extra large that can also kill you. Ah, yeah.. they live under your bed.
The unknown sense of scale is unnerving, makes you think it looks more like a room (as others have stated) as opposed to under a bed, incredible photo. Wonder how he slept the following night? 😂
I would totally protect them. They can have my room, my job, and the country I am in.
He definately deserves that award, that spider is something else.

a life sized spider.
We've seen this image thousands of times and it still tricks us 🤣
It's a fantastic shot!
@@NaturalHistoryMuseumI still don't get it, it's not a wall this spider is on? It looks as big as a person
@@Dipj01 The intent of the photographer is to make it look like it's a giant spider on the wall of a room but it's actually taken underneath a bed.
What you think is the ceiling is actually the bottom of the bed.
The spider is pretty small but it looks huge, I love this picture.
Is this man okay? Why would he willingly sleep with venomous animals close by? Can this mad scientist please take care of himself before he becomes Spiderman?!
@gilwizen_com what was the point of sleeping with venomous spiders under your bed? Genuine question. To prove something?
That thing is so big you could use it as a blanket! I would loose my ever loving mind if I ever saw something like that!😳
"This spider killed my infant daughter, but it's important to remember that it has a large part to play in the ecosystem
This is the twisted logic of animal rights nuts.
@@user-np8nr5uw3r You don't even have to care about the inner lives of animals to apply this logic though. Seeking to eradicate a dangerous animal and thereby destabilizing an entire ecosystem is all but guaranteed to cause greater human suffering in the end. Preserving nature is normally the safer route; we just don't have the capacity and capability to serve all roles artificially. That said, killing individuals in your own home is not the same as going out and trying to hunt to extinction.
@@user-np8nr5uw3r You mean the logic that's not "Gosh I'm so scared of this animal, let's burn it to ash"?
Yeah fair enough, mate.
@@neodymium8936 firstly I’m not your mate and secondly people with common sense have a duty to protect themselves from venomous creatures in their living spaces especially when there are children there.
@@user-np8nr5uw3r They kill from 0 to 5 people per year, and I'm talking about all spiders, not this specific family. Why would it make more sense to have a dog at home than to have a spider, when dogs are 5000x deadlier than spiders ? Also why do you have a staircase ? Why do you drive your kids to school in your car ? Are you aware of how many people die because of car crashes and domestic accidents ?
You're just speaking nonsense. Like I said to another person here, the fact that they can eventually kill you doesn't mean they will.
You know you can teach yourself not to be scared of spiders. They used to creep me out, and then I decided it was a ridiculous behaviour to have so I started handling them and now they are cool little creatures to me.
Apparently, monsters do live under beds. I guess the fear all kids had is now validated.
The fear of living things is worse
As an Australian this is the smallest spider I’ve ever seen in my life!
Bro literally has a monster under his bed
Imagine a real live monster under bed
so what you're saying is there are monsters under your bed and you should move

This guy as a kid: "mom... There's a monster under my bed. Can I sleep under my bed?"
I thought it was a wall and still can’t see it as under a bed
Me too Man, i Just a wall
They aren’t just highly venomous they’re almost instantly lethal. Brutally quick. And if that were me, the largest rainforest on earth would’ve been updated to the Congo.
Well that's not true. The quickest reported death from one is 30 minutes, and that was a small child. More commonly it takes hours, if the bite is fatal at all (which it still usually isn't).
However, it is still terrifying because it's known for inducing priapism in men which can mess up your junk permanently if not treated.
@@1BeGe also true. And I would concede the fatality point, although would counter argue hours is still quick and if you’re in the middle of a jungle 🤷🏻♂️
@@FirstnameLastname-rc8yd Yeah, they're pretty quick. The term "instantly lethal" is what I was referring to.

What an awesome photo. I love Brazilian wandering spiders and thank you for making sure mom and her babies were undisturbed. I wonder what kind of phoneutria it was? Quite beautiful but I most likely would have switched cabins and left that one to mom lol
If my house was with that lot of spiders ah yes I will get a flame thrower because my fear is spiders(especially when a tiny pit of it I get scared if it I’m kind of looks like a scaredy-cat)
Thats the most poisonous spider in the world. Its pretty lethal and pretty aggresive (for a spider)
Imagine waking up one morning and you see this thing on your face what's the first reaction that comes to mind
I’d be screaming like marv from home alone
Don't move, feel no fear. Wait for it to leave your face or gently try to remove it from there. If you scream it will sense your fear and bite you. If you are bitten, rush to an hospital asap.
@@Monitice They don't "sense your fear", mate. They're not dogs. If they bite you like that, it will mainly be because they'll get startled after sudden movement and screams. They're sensitive to vibrations, not emotions.
He was in the Amazon with my mom taking photos of spiders under the bed just before she died
I'm glad it's not under my bed!

Little known fact, this was the last interview Mr. Wizen ever gave. His skeletal husk remains to this day in that condemned shack. The brave can visit and watch thousands of Wandering Spiders crawl in to and out of his orbital sockets. Beside him, on the wall, purportedly drawn in his own blood, is a spider with a heart-shaped body.

They can have their important role in the ecosystem OUTSIDE!!!! 🇨🇦
Well since you said Amazon I know this mother also feeds on lizards , amphibians, birds , and small mammals. Imagine one night sleeping and hearing a mouse under the bed screaming while being drained into a soup 🍲
We do need to protect them, i live in Brisbane Aus and we get large huntsmen coming into the house, they usually do a lap or two around the top of the walls and realise theres no prey so they leave again, i will never harm one because they catch a lot of pest insects.
