"We're happy and proud to already present you "Meet The Enemy" - track 7 off our upcoming album "Helvetios"!
It tells you about the 'encounter' the Helvetians had with the roman legions in the year 58 BC - one of the crucial points in their history, for it was basically when the gaulish wars erupted.
So the song is pretty much filled with wrath and rage - upholding the furious spirit you might know from tracks such as "Kingdom Come Undone", "Bloodstained Ground" or "Lament".
Furthermore the song's substantial instrumentation (including fiddle, hurdy gurdy, whistles and uilleann pipes) is also enriched by one of the guest musicians, we had the honour to work with - Fredy Schnyder (from Nucleus Torn) who contributed some amazing parts on the hammered dulcimer.

Why? Fabienne is amazing on the new album. And most importantly, Cellar Darling wouldn't exist. I think the prog stuff she is doing now is incredible and a better use of her talent and creativity, especially.
The riffs are so good
I think it's fair to say that the vocals on this track are legitimately angry (as opposed to many where they are just growled and not necessarily meant to have any negativity explicit in it) and it's awesome. Chrigel continues to have one of the best voices in metal and holy shit, Anna is just getting better and better. As amazing as Quoth the Raven is, her scream on this track blows it out of the water.
Saw these guys live and they are fucking AMAZING.Seriously one of the best live acts I've witnessed.

I don't recall ever seeing any of them play a hammered dulcimer, and the instrument I'm referring to is Crigel's mandolin-esque instrument, as seen in the thousandfold video during the midsection of the song.

This is the Eluveitie I love. Havent heard them play like this since Slania. Not to say the in between albums didnt have their moments, but they are nothing like Helvetios. Helvetios kicks fucking ass! Welcome back Eluveitie!!!!!

@Bycops I listened all the Eluveitie's albums thousands and thousands of times, so I know what I'm saying about. You can't say that "the folk moved to the background" only because there are louder guitars. This is a metal band, it's obvious that the guitars need to be hear, and in the mix of the album there are much more factors in the final result than the volumes of all the tracks. Also, sincerely I feel much more the presence of the folk elements in this album than in "Everything Remains".
@jamaicamon2008 They sing in Gaulish in a few songs on the album, Luxtos for example. And after this album they'll be doing Evocation 2. So they'll most likely be singing in Gaulish again
@Bycops They always have 2 or 3 songs in their albums that are more focused on the melo-death stuff, so don't get your hopes down
