Hello Tim the tree was field grown in Oregon so age is a guess probably twelve to fifteen years. I've had it seven. So in the twenty to thirty range

Cool I was wondering how to shorten the needle on my Mikawa pine this whole time I thought I had to get the kotobuki variety for short needle pine bonsai . I live in Hawaii so
It’s warm and we have a long growing season and I think that black pines like salt air because they grow near the beach sometimes iv seen black pine trees growing on beach cliffs too . Wow that tree was beautiful
