I do not have the option to cancel. I called my bank as they keep taking the monthly subscription, and the bank advised me to contact them. I did contact them, but unfortunately, they are not answering. The only option left for me is to cancel my credit card.

You can cancel your subscription through the play store by following these steps, entering from the phone, subscriptions menu and cancel subscription, it worked for me and I had the same problem as you.
There is way, you just need to sign up your chatGPT account on chrome browser not safari and your plan option will pop up

I cancelled as I was signing up for the app because I saw that it was $19.99 per month rather than the yearly amount. I was still charged for the one month subscription even though it was not used! Since I had originally signed up under the trial version, why was I charged for the month before the trial had passed, and how do I get my refund?

Does the "My account" tab appear only after you purchase subscription? I am a having a free tier account now and don't see the My account tab on the left.

Hey Donna, if you are using a free account then there shouldn't be anything to cancel. The cancelation process is for if you've paid and no longer want to pay for a subscription.
