I main Glavier since her release, I gotta agree with pretty much everything you said. Sometimes I wish we were non-positional (especially in Ivory) but her kit is just perfect.
I really love your positiviy and videos. I just wanted to point out that the new Mic you are using have balance issue. I hear your Voice on my Left ear more than right. Hopefully you can fix that. Keep going strong, Best wishes.
Yeah it’s old mic. Had to send the new mic back because I felt like it wasn’t worth the money to upgrade right now. I’ll wait until I can fully upgrade my audio setup and buy a great dynamic mic 😬. I think what glavier is missing is a quick dmg skill for red stance. So many times there is a dmg window but its too short for any of your charge hold skills. Something like the quick brutal impact tripod for slayer that is totally balanced and not used by 90% of the players including punisher builds x)
To add on, glavier feels very clunky to play when compared to more "modern" classes especially after her rework into entropy. Every entropy class plays the same way to maximize back attacks, u wait for the boss to aggro someone before casting a skill and u pre-move to good positions by being familiar with attack patterns. However, by the time we cast our SBD and Z to change stance, that window is already half gone, you add in the charging time, the window is almost gone. Gotta reposition. Compared to Slayers / SEs , they can unload at least 2 out of their 3 big dps skills before we even enter red stance. Furthermore, we are forced to unload sub optimally because once we cast SBD, we are committed to that 6 second burst. Not to mention the unnecessary animation of sticking our asses out during RDH which makes our fat ass get caught in small tight areas of "back-safe" zones while other classes are happily hitting. Unfortunately I really like the weapon and I am too far deep. We are just a glorified synergy class now.
Are you playing Spec/Crit or your necklace is Swift? I tried Swift neck, it was terrible in terms of Crit, since I swapped to full Spec/Crit it's a lot better, I often have 100% Crit on RD with Crit syn.
@@pa3ck122i play the swift neck crit ring version. All stars aligned my rdh has 70% crit wich doesnt seem much but it was dirt cheap and easely speed capped wich i cant say for crit neck version :/
Recently swapped one of my alts to glavier. I like how useful and strong the class is in general. As mentioned in the video, the most dislikeable thing about the class is actually landing the whole rotation on the back. Luckily you do pretty good damage regardless. Outside of being a hardcore back attack, think the class blows when you don't have yearning. You're as slow as a destroyer.
I wish I enjoyed Glaivier even half as much as you did. I was hype for it but it didn't live up to it for me, personally. Didn't feel bad, didn't do poorly with it, but it just didn't have that something I was expecting. What was I expecting? I don't know anymore. But it's still cool that you've got your class that just clicks with you. Personally, my favorite thing about the two classes I really enjoy is that they both have excellent mobility and I don't find myself sitting there wishing my skills are off cd when an opening presents itself. I main Tai and secondary Hunger. I am considering Eso WD though in the future, as some sort of middle ground. One gripe I have with my main is the lack of reach. Sucks to have an opening and have nothing to do because if I attack, I'll move into the hit zones while others dump their ranged or "melee" skills from a distance. Oh well, at least I have good stagger, destruction, mobility, counter, and I enjoy the sticky playstyle... but my T-rex arms D:
I kinda liked it as control, but was fairly bland. After swapping to pinnacle I thought it was fairly fun.. but the longer i have it, I hate it more and more.. my least favorite of my top 6.
For the Breaker release I'm debating between pinnacle and surge. As an EO main, I feel like I'd prefer surge just because of the pace ... but the skins on fighters ... mmm.
Myself played Bard since release and liked the class enough to make 5 baby Bard alts :P and now i am working to get them all up to 1600+ Got a Glavier as an alt and probably one of my favourite alt classes, only 1540 and 5x3 currently with level 7 gems so nothing special.
i dont like her walking animation and for that reason im making something else. she just looks really goofy running around pointing that spear. it would be better if she held it like soul eater and ran around with it pointed down behind her.
I’m probably going to make a video addressing this. But you can still perform really well without playing entropy. There’s a few options, but one build that stands out. Obviously the ceiling for your damage won’t be quite as high, but it’s SO much more relaxed.
@@itsDubla gl in party finder, reason why i benched my glaiv no one wants to see a nightmare build on it cause u lose out on so much dmg. loved the class but the entropy burst is just not it for me. i like consintent dmg more i play arcana/gs/reaper/se
I wish I liked my class as much. At this point I'm so deeply stuck in my gunlancer I'm starting to lose care for the game. It's so mind numbing boring. I do zdps so disheartening to see other classes with flashy styles and huge numbers and I'm there as a counter bot. Wish I woulda re rolled when I had the chance
But everyone wants you because you make them better, stronger, and let them greed more with extra shields. Personally I value GL a lot more than some greedy dps class. But if it's boring then eh, I can't fault you there as that's subjective. Either way, I always want to be in the GL's party, they're just that good.

I hate her being entropy. I miss the old playstyle. I might drop her for breaker :/
