Another Banger, Thanks Brendan, I have watched this vid 7 times as I try fully grasp what I am doing. Question. I see two major functions these systems can fulfil. Booking, How about ordering?
Hi Brendan. Interesting vid - thanks for putting it out there. What's the cost to the restaurant/booking company for using this? And by cost, I don't mean to the agency for setting it up, I mean to VAPI for the ongoing use of their API...
Hey Brendan, this was an awesome tutorial. I have a quick question though, how to approach restaurant owners when their support team answers the phone, and how to convince them that replacing their staff isn’t bad
It's likely not replacing anyone, the phone is answered typically by someone with multiple jobs, so this system would only save them more time to focus on more important tasks.
Your video is very clear, Brendan. Question: if a restaurant has specific hours for discount promotions, then how does the Agent AI know if it is on promotion at the time they call it? Greetings.
Thanks Joe, this can be done by adding an additional step to the booking automation, that whenever someone books a time slot, send their phone number into a Google Sheet or similar.
If a table is booked at 2pm on Google Calendar, would this setup not prevent other tables from being booked at the same time? This could be slightly problematic for restaurants, as it would block off the entire time slot, making other available tables appear unavailable.
That's why you should specify your prompt by telling it the numbers of tables you have and tag each of them with names like Table A,B and C so that the AI would give such options to the customer and of course you'll have to tweak your automation by maybe adding more Google calendars for each table then you retrain your AI until it gets it
@@b2brish Is freebusy your company?? And if so, maybe you need to remove it and let Google sheet or any data collector to capture and store all the data for you, another thing I'll advice is that you need to make bookings strictly calls only or have a specific number of tables to be booked by calls alone, unless you want to manually be changing the available spaces in your automation. But if you want to still use Freebusy, you have to consider checking for bugs, maybe that is causing your error
Not everyone is innovative, aware or got a futuristic mindset to implementing technology in there business, maybe show it to them to test it out or if you have extra cash you can offer them the services for free for about 3 weeks or a month🤷🏾♂️
What was the provider, model, and voice used for the demo done at the very beginning of the video? That sounded excellent. It sounded quite different from what you built and tested during the video which sounds less natural and more robotic. @brendanautomation

Thanks for watching. Aslong as it can be ran through an API request you can build it.

Hi, thanks for watching. You can run a function for getting the current time, and structure your prompt around knowing the time.
@@brendanautomation Perfect !!!! ⭐
This is great. I would like to find out how to add getting a confirming phone # or email to create a list from.

Thanks!
Thank you Gus!

What about if he want to seat inside or outside, for a birthday or a romantic dinner, etc…
Sure you can capture anything you'd like
Thanks for the knowledge share! 🎉 6:33
No worries, happy to help.

When one slot is booked, the automation runs again, freebusy api returns it as busy. So it's not possible to get double booked

How can I get local time for Los Angeles if the user is calling to order food outside of business hours? {{time}} returns UTC time
You have to define "timeZone" in JSON format in the google calendar make node
Yep, just swap it over.
I have talked to restaurant owner they say its cool idea but they don't buy my AI services

Hi, the demo at the start was the same system.
Hey Brendan, can I join your crew and sell the system in my local market ?
Hi, sorry we dont provide any re-selling services.
