Glad you are enjoying it. My dealership is pretty cool but I take the Racechip off if I have to go there. I do not use the dealer much

Hey what’s the difference between the front mount intake and the under the hood one that you have here? Any difference? I love the look of the front mounted intake
The front one is going to be louder outside of the car… I am not sure if there are any real performance gains

Have you noticed any oil temperature increase since these don’t have a heat shield? Any concern?
No. No concerns this far.
Why don’t they just make cone filters that attach onto the existing air intake pipes. What’s the point of buying new pipes when they’re literally the same size. All you really need is the filters exposed to get that induction noise.
From my understanding the new pipes are aluminum vs plastic which helps with flow. I plan to dyno soon so we can see if they make any power.
Stock is not the same size, we went with a much larger 3.5" aluminum mandrel bent tubing.

Did you have any fitment struggles with the big pipe I’m trying to install it right now and it’s not lining up to that bolt
It was not a perfect fitment but I got it to work. Make sure the large pipe is fully seated on the turbo inlet

Thank you. Basic socket wrench, flat head screw driver and a 10, 13 & 14 mm socket I think
Did you go BMW for the extra washers to keep the strut braces off your intakes?
No John had some extras but you can get them from Home Depot or Lowes
You dont want an open filter ....its sucks in hot air.
So does the stock intake. No way to avoid it. With the way BMWs are set up and their turbo systems you are fine
Mic in the engine is a little too extra lol, but I like the video, are you seeing any improvements on MPG or performance?
Yeah it was. I know some people like it so I included it. Too early to tell at this point but I do plan to dyno this week

Hey brotha. Do these mod's void your warranty at all?
Each dealer is different so you will need to ask. If you taillights go out they need to prove that the intake you installed caused the issue to deny your claim. If that makes sense.

BMS is a little louder but the fit and finish of the MST is better

We will find out on Friday when I dyno it. I have not ever lost power installing an intake on a BMW before.
