We had a similar system to European countries. High-caste people would "do their business", while those from very low castes in society were forced to clean up after them. Most of the cleaning workers died early, suffering from many diseases, and their younger generation was also forced into becoming cleaners.

But we chose the third option - dunk common sense and stick to a certain belief, then consider our belief as better and look down upon other beliefs. Keep this negative competition alive for as long as possible so that we both go down together, fighting each other. All the invaders took advantage of this nature and now that we are left to be independent, we lack the basic understanding of independence. It's like leaving a slave free and he finds way to work at homes. Now, he earns but chooses to do the same work anyway. Even if he could have done something else. Our rich culture and ourpride in it has made us rigid in our faith, we threw our options to change depending on our situation. In the end, we stayed where we were for too long and the world passed us ahead. Now, we are fighting among each other and trying to go further back.
