Wow!!! Fantastic.
Turns me on! LOVE that there are people like you that can take that mess and fix it up!
In the 70's a friend of mine acquired a 1939 Rock-ola jukebox and he asked me if I could make it work. I tinkered with it and almost got it working, but I could not find any needles. I wrote to Wurlitzer and inquired as to where I could get some. They sent me free of charge a package of needles. The owner's wife had been a singer and had recorded several 78 records which he placed in the machine and enjoyed for a long time.
Nice! I like the wind-up phonograph than this one, because it’s plays 78 only, but I have two of them including my Victor VV 8-4 Orthophonic Victrola from 1926, and my Camp Fone portable wind-up acoustic phonograph from 1923, and I have a bunch of Andrews Sisters 78’s and I enjoyed playing outside on my 1923 Camp Fone.
In awe!
I've got a 1947 Rockola that I restored getting parts is a nightmare.
Where did you locate the parts to fix this 39 ST up? I am currently restoring one and having problems locating a few details. Thank you in advance.
Thank you! It was a fun project and a real conversation piece. The name of the song is "Jack Jack Jack" by the Andrews Sisters.
