Brit art-rockers unleash the fury of one of the most terrifying, compelling, weirdly thought-provoking and reflective concept albums in recent memory.
Part performance art, part musical theatre, The Worm is one of the most singularly unique releases of the year, and deserves to be heard by everyone at least once.
Cow, chicken, pig, human... what's the difference?

Heck yeah!! I hope it delights you with it's weirdness as much as it did me

@@RhymeSignatures Can not tell if I like it or not but keep listening to it. I think the shorter length helps in this case.

I cannot praise this album enough. Goes beyond just a good album, it’s one of my all time favourites! Definitely my favourite concept album. As you said, you could talk about this for much longer. There is so much packed into it’s fairly tight run time. They released a companion book and if you love this album you should definitely pick that up too. It goes into detail about the song meanings, adds so much that you’ll likely miss even with repeated listens. It gets quite deep!
Could you give any recommendations off this? I’ve never heard anything like this but would love to hear another album similar, if there are any?

I didn't know there was a companion book! Will have to look into that :)
As for comparable albums, it's hard to really say! The Worm feels so unique in the world, it's hard to think of anything quite like it!

@@RhymeSignatures The book is very interesting, I’d expected a funny companion story about Henry fighting a worm in medieval England. It goes quite deep into politics and mental illness
