It is a shocking news that pensioners who retired before sept. 1 2014 has been thrown to the waste basket . when pension scheme was started in 16 th Nov. 1995 , these people also contributed 12% of their total salary each month to EPF . Now EPFO is taking a cruel and fatherless decision to simply oust them from main stream . your faith will be decided by God soon.
Yes, you are tight where from the trust gets money for increased pension pay outs? What ever accumulated in the fund will finish over a period of three or four years. Once the entire money is finished then who will pay for the rest of life yo the pensioners? Does SC thought this situation. It seems not. Being a EPF 95 pensioner, i have now a serious doubt whether such increased pensions are viable? One side from 1994 onwards, the government has already stopped pensions to all the central government employees, now SC gives judgement for increased pensions to private employees. Very soon all the central government employees will be agitating for reviving the old pension system? The entire system and economy will go for a spin and SC will be responsible for all the problems. The SC has not applied their mind objectively.
Are you telling sc has given wrong decision, some people are ready to give 72000/- per year to the so called poor people from treasary at that time what will be your opinion,pl. note all the eps 95 pensioners contributed a big amount in their service.
Dear sir , I'm the member of family pension scheme EPS 95. I worked for 25 years (1972-1996). Company was illegally lock out. My last salary in 1996 was ₹ 7500. While filling the pension form I encashed some pension amount. I am getting ₹532 per month till today. Though in 2014 minimum pension was revised as ₹1000/-pm. But I didn't get the revised pension. Please let me know ,how much amount I will get as per supreme court verdict.
