Bieke you need to start on the floor if you're not sooo trained, lay down strait with arms above the head, lift arms and legs a little and try to wip. hope it's understandable. if you're good at it, go to a Wall and Walk with your feet upwards. stay in this Position as long as possible. if you can, try to lift your hands a little....

lee107 sounds like a contradiction for some...but eat complex carbs! I have a desk job and I find including rice or quinoa fills me up and stops cravings. That's because complex carbs increase leptin. They give me energy as well to kill a workout when I get home. Also...morning workouts before breakfast really set the tone and ensure I have gotten in some movement before sitting for the day. :)

    • @erinohagan8839

lee107 I set an alarm on my phone to go off every 30 minutes to remind me to get up and walk around at work. I have it set to vibrate to avoid disturbing my coworkers. An earlu morning walk makes a big difference too!

    @innermeetme 7 лет назад +2

First off let me say you're super inspiring and so kind. You seem like such a genuinely down to earth person with positive intentions 💛. You're the one RUclipsr I get so excited to watch!! :) I've like thought these things forever and never comment them for some reason but I hope you read this! I had horrendous digestive issues, and because of that I have learned so much in order to correct them- all holistically.
First and foremost your adrenals are likely fatigued to some degree, which is why you can't sleep and you crave stimulants. Coffee will only exacerbate cortisol issues because it forces your adrenals, which regulate cortisol levels, to draw from energy stores they don't have. Take out the coffee and you'll sleep better. I know coffee helps you poop (lol). I've been there too- in fact, most people are there! It's sad. But your digestive system shouldn't rely on a stimulant to function. Your ravenous appetite may be linked to your cortisol issues... I suffered from an excessive appetite and terrible hypoglycemia myself. It's hard to correct that without the right "medicine". Have you ever looked into homeopathy? It gets such a bad rap yet it's literally a miracle, more than most people will ever know. I tried everything- traditional medicine, herbalism, etc. and only homeopathy built my digestive system from the ground up because it stimulates the body to heal itself. It's like a natural vaccine, a dilution of a substance in nature that restores the body back to its natural state. If you're interested I think you're a Phosphorus type :). You can look it up if you want. It's an absolutely amazing and awe-inspiring sector of holistic medicine. I'm sure your naturopath knows a little bit about it, but you'd wanna see someone who has devoted themselves to the practice of homeopathy solely. Also, have you considered cooking with coconut butter to retain all the beneficial properties of coconut instead of just the oil? I'm sure you're aware of the "oil is bad" controversy. I'm vegan myself so I'm always incorporating filling foods into my diet. The butter might keep you fuller for longer, and it will taste better too. Finally, if you correct your digestive system permanently, restoring it back to its natural state, you won't have to worry about your sugar intake... you can and should be able to eat all the natural sugars you want. Right now too much fruit sugar alone is probably too stressful on your adrenals, causing sleep/energy issues and acne problems; alternatively, when you eat sugar with fats, like fruit and nut mix, it traps the sugars, flaring up Candida issues which you likely have (like most people!) if you have mild digestive distress.
That was a lot but like I said I watch your videos religiously 💛 and I thought I'd share if it helps. Keep up your positivity and sincerity- it's so refreshing!! :)

ilovemusic8901 Hi! I'm sorry this took me so long to respond. Well I could write you a novel on the best things to do and what to avoid but homeopathy is the main thing. If you see a reputable homeopath he/she will tell you all the do's and don't's associated with homeopathic treatment, but the dont's are few. I will tell you that you can eat all the clean, whole foods you want, whereas something like the SCD, anti-candida, or FODMAP diet is restrictive, unsustainable, and often ineffective, at least when compared with the effects of homeopathy, which aims to, in effect, "reset" the totality of the being by compelling it to heal itself.

I'll have something to follow at my new beginning! and yes, it's time to do something with sugar addiction, make some changes, find my balance in life again... thanks again, you're helping me with this. :-)

Hi Sarah!! I totally do not mean this as a rude comment but I just have to share some of my experiences with sugar cravings. I noticed that I stopped cravings sweets ie: dried fruit, chocolate, pastries when I started incorporating more grains and starches in my diet. I know you are gluten intolerant so i suggest adding more rice/quinoa/potatoes. Anything that satisfies you. This helped me TREMENDOUSLY with my cravings and honestly now I hardly ever crave sweets!

Agree with the healthy fats!!! It's easy to get addicted to healthy sugars too! Healthy sugars can create yeast overgrowth in your body too! It's all about balance! I have to heal form a little yeast after consuming way to many bananas over a 8 month period. Bananas while tons of benefits can be to high glycemic for some! I love doing a high fat, high protein Paleo diet with low sugar fruits. My hormones seem the most balanced when I do that! Know i do less than half a banana in my smoothie with other low sugar fruits, and avacodos, chia seeds and hemp hearts

Just like my family, they all order things with bread/gluten too, and I always have a paleo meal like you. I love your videos! I wanna know more about how you feel about cheating on diet, or cheat days, how strict are you with your diet? You look really healthy! Also, I recently heard a person on a podcast talking about a good way to deal with sugar addictions, is to eat fat and salt. They said it was the trick to get rid of it. It works for me. Also, I heard a person talking about something in chocolate, especially dark chocolate, protects women from some certain type of damage that happens during your periods. There is a really good reason why so many women crave chocolate, it's a natural instinct to protect yourselves..

A little advice from an American whose done the apartment/independent living thing since 18 (I'm 25) you haven't really elaborated on your apartment hunt on youtube (would be a great video btw) but anyways heres some sage apartment hunting advice: the more income from a steady source the better aka side hustles. the better your credit looks is another great thing (i recommend checking your credit online for free) sticking to your needs while looking for apartments rather than all of your wants can really broaden your search. going hunting on foot as well as online helps A TON because not every apartment will be listed in your desired neighborhood. But keep going Sarah! It can be really stressful to look and you can easily be discouraged but once you live on your own no matter where it is, you will feel a million times better.

I'm just trying the coconut oil in my coffee to help control sugar cravings and keep me fuller - I'm just wondering do you have this with breakfast like a normal coffee or before and eat later? Any girls had success with this?
    Thank you :):)

First off, I love watching your videos Sarah they're such an inspiration...and secondly I found it so great that I was born on the same day as Tahlia. I was born on Mother's Day in 1995 (but in CA 🇺🇸) and had my birthday on Mother's Day this year too!....funny enough, I did meet one other person with the same exact B-Day!

Don't be discouraged! I know how frustrating it can be, here in Sweden we have a waiting list so you always have to wait at least 1-2 years as a student or even 5-10 years as a non-student to get an apartment in most cities. I know it's tedious but I think it took me about a year of active looking until I found an apartment that I loved and got (still a student 😏). I'm sending all the positive vibes and hope you find a nice place soon 🙏🏼♥️😘

I'm trying to make this same diet change right now!! It's more of a "ketogenic" type diet, right? I really want to reduce body fat and get my hormones in order. I'm overweight and 20 months postpartum and I have PCOS. :(

Your videos popped up into my recommendation list a couple months ago, and I have been ADDICTED ever since! I really love your positivity and look on health and fitness. You mentioned re-educating yourself on what is happening to your body. What are some of your favorite podcasts (or who) to listen to?

Sarah your new intro is beautiful! Also, its super awesome how you tell us about your sugar cravings and addiction - so relatable! I feel like I get sugar addicted sometimes too, and its good to show our "vices" who is boss by taking control again. It boosts confidence and is a good reminder of who has the final say, us and not our cravings!
