Agree, it will be more make sense storyline wise. If a GM returns to in-ring action it's because there's someone on the roster that making problems and nobody wants / can't step up to him.
But Bron is currently a RAW guy. Maybe have someone from SD. Or Adam Pearce can reach out to Nick asking for his help
