Karlie Kloss Teaches Us Her Runway Walk - on Video!

- Karlie Kloss is just 15 years old, but she walked 64 shows this past season. Like all those designers, we too fell in love with her signature mesmerizing death stare. Naturally, we couldn't wait to get her on video camera for a real, live runway lesson. Her trick is to keep her chin down and not crack up when the urge emerges. In our afternoon with her, we also dragged her into the dance studio to show us a few pirouettes (she's a skilled ballerina, too - how else would she know how to manage those heels?). Also, Molly Sims stopped by to ensure Kloss makes it to a pivotal high-school event. Watch and find out which one. Video by Jonah Green.

Fast forward she's now one of the MOST recognizable faces in this industry and her walk has been patented. Time flies so fast and so many crazy things happen, but what I love about her is the fact that she's still the same Karlie on this video- so humble and always smiling. I feel like an accomplished mother in raising her daughter right. 😌

This is a 2008 video, I'm here watching it at 2019, and honestly I still see the same beautiful girl with dreams and hopes, even tho she became the biggest model from her era. If you compare this video with a new one she still is as humble as she's ever been. Go KK.

Elijah Stevenson Tyra never even got to walk a Prada show. Just goes to show that she never penetrated the high fashion/couture scene. Tyra only had one Vogue cover. SI and VS made Tyra. But in terms of modelling work, Tyra would not stand a chance against these runway veterans.
Vlada still holds the record now as she walked for 92 or so shows in one season! Love Karlie and all models from 2005-2010

There are 2 main seasons in fashion. Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer.
They are a series of presentations and runway collections shown by designers to retailers/buyers/bloggers in the 4 main fashion capitals. New York City(#1), London(#2), Milan(#3), Paris(#4).
There're other seasons as well on the calendar, but it gets more complicated from :3
First, she is a awesome model. I realize she is not a professional ballet dancer, nor am I; however, I trained for many years (not my entire life) but her technique was really bad just from the small clips showed. Even just goofing around in front of a camera, if you say how dancing helped your body awareness, I wouldn't want to showcase it unless it looked good.

She's not anorexic, She's young, and tall, that's why she looks so thin. And a note for people who haven't noticed, if a person is tall and skinny, they tend to look skinnier than a short person who's skinny It's the way the weight.'s distributed through out their body that makes them look so thin.

I can't always get behind the models Vogue describes as their It Girls, mainly because they never seem to live up to the hype in successive work (Coca Rocha's "red hair" , for one). Kloss is quite another story. She seems like a sensational model.

I must admit I didn't like her first season, til, i saw editorials with her by Steven Meisel, David Sims, Steven Klein and she is an amazing model who definitely knows how to work a photo shoot. I would almost begin to classify her right up there with Karen Elson, CoCo Rocha and Malgosia Bela among others. grt job Karlie.

No one said special features is the same as beauty. I like her face very much and I have no illusion that she is a 'classical' beauty, yet I like her more than Lara Stone. Also, I don't care who Anna Wintour promotes. And saying that a guy won't look at her twice is like saying to every 'plain' girl that they`ll pass unnoticed because they weren't blessed with Monica Bellucci's face and body. The good thing with these models is that they prove that attractiveness is a matter of attitude.

i mean, i didnt go to school with her at the same time, my older brother went at the same time but she was gone a lot. ive never met her, but i was just stating the fact that she went to my school.
I just saw her in the Versace show and fell in love with her ridiculously sexy walk, and that stare; then I Wikipedia her and to my amazement, shes underage! Sixteen and seventeen year old girls did not walk and look like that when I was in high school -- which was only a few years ago. [Sighs] I always miss out on the good ones.
