How the radius of curvature of outer arc (at hinge) is smaller than that of inner arc in class 3 fold? "The curvature of outer arc is greater than of inner arc"(R.G Park). I am unable to differentiate between these two things please make light on that.
This is because radius of curvature and curvature are 2 different things. And curvature Is inversely proportional to radius of curvature so the statement he described is correct

You certainly have to read text-books and attend all lectures by the teachers of your department. I have suggested a number of excellent books at the beginning of the first lecture. Pick any of them.
@@santanumisra3267 sir I was making notes from the structural geology book by twiss n morre but then I came through your lecture videos and start making notes from slide of your ppt and I found that you cover almost every topic that is there in the book . So I just wanna ask sir is your videos are not enough for gate examination?
@@afrozjahan1468 this is enough for gate as far as theory of structural geology is concerned but for numericals aspects of gate u have to go through books like marsalk and maitra and hakon fossen is also considered as one of the best book internationally followed
