Dose the trace of the axial planer cleavages always need to be same in length to be a similar fold? It can decrease gradually incase of a similar fold t0>ta. 20:40

very nice lecture.....can you make some lectures on structural restoration?

How the radius of curvature of outer arc (at hinge) is smaller than that of inner arc in class 3 fold?
"The curvature of outer arc is greater than of inner arc"(R.G Park).
I am unable to differentiate between these two things please make light on that.

This is because radius of curvature and curvature are 2 different things. And curvature Is inversely proportional to radius of curvature so the statement he described is correct

Curvature is inversely proportional to Radius of curvature.
Imagine a football, the radius of it is too small than earth itself but it's curvature is greater than that of earth.......
      Understood na?

Sir I'm Sukanya Chaube,a 2nd semester student (under Calcutta University)...
Sir I have a doubt that why the value of t'A of class 2 fold has to be cosA?
And in class 1B why does the value of T'A =secA?
    Sir kindly clear my doubt...

You certainly have to read text-books and attend all lectures by the teachers of your department. I have suggested a number of excellent books at the beginning of the first lecture. Pick any of them.

@@santanumisra3267 sir I was making notes from the structural geology book by twiss n morre but then I came through your lecture videos and start making notes from slide of your ppt and I found that you cover almost every topic that is there in the book . So I just wanna ask sir is your videos are not enough for gate examination?

@@afrozjahan1468 this is enough for gate as far as theory of structural geology is concerned but for numericals aspects of gate u have to go through books like marsalk and maitra and hakon fossen is also considered as one of the best book internationally followed
