i enjoyed this video, Thank you for sharing this info! was torn between malibu and another brand and now im gonna go with the other brand, thank you again!
Terrific video Carl and Riley! I have never had this drink and it sounds super interesting! The Malibu would be too sweet but I'd love to try the Shipwreck! You both rock and I love these comparison testings!! They are awesome! It's not warm enough in Vancouver yet for this kind of cocktail but it will be! I am going to try this beauty out soon! Looks fab! Cheers!! 🙂
The Brooklyn looks interesting, New York Sour is one of my favorites. But crap, I've been using Pinot Noir!!! I will have to try your wine suggestions.
Carl, do you just do all of your sous vide infusions at 175? If I am cooking something at that amount of heat, I'll use the same amount of time... When I sous vide floral/herbal items, I am around 140 degrees for a longer period. Picks up the floral notes more, rather than a cooked note... I would definitely do coconut as high as you though...
Shipwrecked is king. I’ve run through so many bottles. That said, I drank Malibu like it was going out of style back in the days. 50/50 is still a win, Riley!
There’s a saying in the rum community that Malibu is a liqueur, not rum. LOL. I have the Kula toasted. I rarely use it. I agree it tastes like toasted marshmallows. Great bottle. 🤷🏼♀️ Sadly, I can’t get the shipwreck. Coconut is a tough one to get right. I love experiments and taste tests so these are always fun to watch. Cheers guys! Enjoy your week!
Have you checked out our Goombay Smash video? ruclips.net/video/2-OfKzpwV3k/видео.html

That is a great comparison. I wish I could get all of these to try.
It took us a while to get all of these.
I agree I own shipwreck coconut is wonderful. Yes hard to find
I wish we could get it easier.
@@carl_busch i have to ask my package store to special order it for me. They order special orders for others too so i don't mind asking.

I'm still really figuring out sous vide techniques.
I like the idea of lower temperature for herbs.

Lol!
Have you tried Siesta Key's Coconut rum?
I have not heard of it. We are very limiting options in Iowa.
