  • Hi folks, in this video I show off my new home theatre speakers. Yes I actually bought something. Ever since I found 2 complete boxes of Yamaha NS-333 speakers at the dump I’ve been a little obsessed with how their big brothers the NS-777 speakers look. After doing a lot of research and reading loads of reviews I decided to buy me a set of used NS-777 speakers hoping they would sound really good. They did.
In this video I’m just temporarily cleaning and setting them up to use while I complete my home theater build. I also finally give you a quick peak at a few of my other dump found speakers I totally love and plan on using. And at the very end of the video I give you a little look at how I’m hoping my home cinemas front section may look.
    Cheers

Hi Isky, do you think it is important to match all your speakers given now you can customize the sound for each channel? or is it you prefer Yamaha speakers, they do look great. 👍👍

G'day buddy, no not at all. I think the whole timbre matching of speakers is one of the biggest marketing scams ever. As long as your speakers are all of similar quality you'll never notice the difference. I only bought the Yamaha NS-777 because they looked cool. But I wouldn't have bought them if I hadn't seen the countless reviews saying how great they sound. And they do sound nice 😀
Hey I found another receiver the other day. A Denon Atmos receiver. I finally hooked up those Jensen ceiling speakers for Atmos and everything sounds amazing. Working on the video now mate 👍

@@stephenb4411 want to add in that in home cinema its always a perspective thing. IF you have a dedicated room AND going for full immersion. Having speakers that can go down to ~50hz is a great thing. Atmos added alot of deeper signals to the surrounds AND Heights. So small speakers work and can sound good. But for the best immersion you want speakers that can go pretty low and still have good sound. U may not hear where the sound is coming from but you can feel where the chair your sitting on gets resonated from. A big diffrence for me.

    Hi
I will build a 7.2 system with 2 subwoofers. the speakers i want are Taga Harmony TAV-807F Pair of Hi-Fi Floor Speakers 180W 3 Ways and for center channel side and rear sound the same Taga Harmony TAV-807F. subwoofer I don't know how many watts and inches, I will have to ask what is better after TAV 807F.
Amplifier. Yamaha RX-A2A Home Cinema 4K/8K 7.2 Channel Amplifier 125W/8Ω 160W/6Ω with HDR and Dolby Atmos Black. I choose this one because it has 160 watts at 6 Ω.
the colour of the speaker is probably white or brown. I am exactly 3000 euros.then I want a 4ķ bluray player and projector and im ready.
( now I'm thinking if the yamaha Yamaha NS-777 sounds better from Taga Harmony TAV-807F or about the same level ) it's hard to decide

Mate what you've just described sounds pretty amazing. I'd never heard of those speakers so I Googled them. They look really nice 👍 So unfortunately I can't really give a good comparison of the two. I have to admit I went for the NS-777's mainly because I liked the look and that they only cost me $400.00. I definitely wouldn't have bought them if I hadn't done a lot of research and read mainly very positive reviews on them though. I've had mine for a few months now and am very happy I got them. They sound great. But so do my Wharfedale's, as well as my DIY speakers. In fact the home made speakers I found probably have the edge I think.
Curious... what model/brand projector will you get? and what size screen will you be rockin?
