Detroit Diesel Series 50G On MTS C40LF

Okay, this is another redo of one of my earliest posts. This is a remake of MTS C40LF 1501-class - (Audio Clips) video. I was just not satisfied with the sound quality on the original clip. Finally, I had enough and decided to do the remake. The original recording had too much midrange and high end, so I went through the audio recordings, adjusting and improving the sound, representing more accurately the true sound of the Series 50G on these buses. It is fitting that I did the remake on 10/10/12 as this is just one day shy of one year from the last Series 50G I would see on MTS, on 10-11 of 20-11.
The first few minutes of the audio clips has a lot of rattling noises in the bus as it headed west on Broadway. However, the rattling became less apparent as more people boarded the bus.
Some noteworthy events on this recording:
2:08 the engine nearly stalls as the bus comes to a stop but then sputters back to life.
6:17 the bus makes the freeway run of route 50, heading north on Interstate 5.
9:30 the Series 50G and Allison get a hard workout climbing up the steep grade on Clairemont Drive.
These audio clips being 20 minutes long on a route that takes about 45 minutes, represents almost half the route in this recording. These clips are longer than the original as there is virtually nothing cut from the clips, I kept everything intact as I had recorded.

Ya, out of all MTS buses I have ridden while in the hobby, the 1501-class are the ones I miss most. Love the DD Series 50G, best sounding MTS buses I have ridden.
