🎤 Lyrics:
[Malia J]
Load up on guns, bring your friends
It's fun to lose and to pretend
She's over-bored and self-assured
Oh no, I know a dirty word
[Malia J]
Hello, hello, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low
[Malia J]
With the lights out, it's less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us
[Malia J]
I'm worse at what I do best
And for this gift, I feel blessed
Our littlе group has always been
And always will until the end
[Malia J]
Hello, hеllo, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low
[Malia J]
With the lights out, it's less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us
A mulatto, an albino
A mosquito, my libido
[Malia J]
And I forget just why I taste
Oh yeah, I guess it makes me smile
I found it hard, it's hard to find
Oh well, whatever, nevermind
[Malia J]
Hello, hello, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low
[Malia J]
With the lights out, it's less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us
[Malia J]
A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial

Have you seen any cool tv series or movies lately?🍿🎥
First
;-;
Yes 😐
I just saw the coolest, Black Widow 😊😊
Really cool I lika.
Rarely has a song and movie intro affected me like this particular combo. Hauntingly brilliant…
Yea
Haunting is the perfect adjective
Agree completely this song with the intro was AMAZING!!
Yes. Haven't been hit that hard by a movie since the end of Guardians 2.
Very brilliant. It sent chills down my spine when i heard it.
I think what made a lot of people, including me, shocked about the dark music and dark theme of the movie is because Natasha's traumatic past was always kinda talked about for a minute and than brushed over in the other movies, and it never really made people think about how dark her past was
I always thought black widow and winter soldier's lives are so bad and worse than ever They were literally taken from their life and turned into killing machines and when that nightmare is over they were named killer and both them and their life are destroyed
And you see how the Widows were behind are the social upheavals in history
That’s why black widow wanted to die for that stone
I agree
Did anyone else die inside during this part of the movie. OMG. Unreal marvel really said "FINISH THEM" with this one.
Actually The Batman did Something in The Way with Kurt’s original voice last year for the trailer. I think Marvel copied them and wanted to be grungy but still pretty cool
@@jenniferbeltran2340 copied them? Black Widow was meant to premiere in May 2020, the film was edited and finished before then including this song... that Batman trailer came out less than a year ago.
Yes like honestly lowkey wanted to tear up. Call me what u want but it was 10/10
During this part I was so ready for Natasha to put a bullet in dreykov’s brain
Literally I like died.
The intro to black widow was one one the saddest marvel scenes ever added with this song
Also one of the most hard hitting, and of course best.
@@RYMAN1321 Facts.
It wasn’t even sad hahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahhaahhahahahahahjajajajajajahwjajjwjwjwjw
@@RYMAN1321 not even fucking close😂🤣
AGREED 🥺😭
I have seen Black Widow in the cinema twice now, both times the opening has given me chills. I think it's because of the song and how well it fits the beginning scene :D
Same I've watched it in Cinemas twice and both times I cried at the second time they sing American pie.
Luck you get to go to the cinema , we have to make one at home but with the speakers it felt equally as good
@@savinglives1902 At least you got to see it though! :D
Same, I went twice because it was so good
When I heard this song paired with the intro, I knew Marvel weren't fucking around and were doing something different.
You sad a bad word but its fine- 👍
The generic “somber song cover” trope is so far beyond overdone - can’t fathom how it could be considered “something different” from Marvel.
...except they didn't, because despite the strong start Black Widow just ends up being another empty, hollow MCU movie with nothing of substance to say or anything to explore. Scorsese was right.
It gave me literal chills. Like I was like “Ok this sh*ts about to be amazing.”
@@-eclipse-5235 the opening scene and opening credits were best in mcu
This version of "smells like teen spirit" fits black widow perfectly. Up till her own film she was always eluded to be a deep character you could tell how she was torn at times and very rarely was anything said of her past. The movie did a great job to show why she was deep and truly troubled. This song really fits the rough broken lifestyle she lived.
what?
what?
When the intro of black widow started, as a Nirvana fan, I was like “hell naw why they gotta ruin an iconic song” but then it got so powerful I got chills. I’ve never known a song I’d headbang to turn into something so dark. Marvel really werent messing around with that movie
Song was always dark.
same i had the exact same thought when i first heard it come on in the beginning of the movie
Of course, I have nothing against you, but I think you are wrong. Damn it, you may be a fan of Nirvana, but this particular song is closer to the movie. Marvel tried very hard, combining the beginning of the film (the screams of the children and the speech of the Head of the Red Room, as well as other shots). And the song is not at all degraded, but in my opinion even IMPROVED
I thought felt the same exact way
I felt the same. I'm old enough to remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard Kurt was dead. I've been a lifelong Nirvana fanatic; so much so that my kids are Nirvana fanatics as well.
The second time I watched this movie, I was no longer thinking of an iconic song ruined...I was taking in the visuals and the knowledge of Black Widow's tragic life story (mostly from the comics, not the movie) and this song was forever changed for me.
This song isn’t in black widow, it is black widow .
I literally never cry in movies and this was the one time i did marvel isn’t playing anymore
Isn't playing anymore?
Not messing around
@Lilly Brown end game was really good but I feel like black widow had a lot more emotion in it
@Lilly Brown I still love all of the movies tho
This song is perfect for:
- Vibing
- Trailers and edits
- Writing the "Dark Ages" arc in stories
- Assassin/Misunderstood playlists
Am I the only one who has heard this cover song in another movie/series?
Terrible
-edgy kids playlist
CORNYYYYY ASSSSSSS LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@@robbydragiif they ever make a tv show based on the video game VALORANT they need to use this when they introduce Viper
I was shocked when Smells Like Teen Spirit started playing during the beginning of the movie. It really fits the vibe of the opening scene incredibly and goes so well with Black Widow as a whole. What a legendary song for such an amazing intro to a movie 🖤
My thoughts exactly.
Damn. I just noticed the lyrics and what they mean and just. Damn.
Yeah this song fits really well
@Matthew Burget Nothing, they should've made a Drain you cover for Black widow
You can thank Kurt Cobain for that 🙏🏻
@@jenniferbeltran2340 Yeah fr this song is absolutely mind blowing
@Matthew Burget it’s kind of like a teenagers party and the sort of growing up and learning new things. “I know a bad word” the introduction to swearing and sexual references, “with the lights out, it’s less dangerous” the introduction to stuff like sex and everything that occurs under the cover of darkness. “I feel stupid and contagious” means the feeling of hangovers and contagious means stuff like stds etc.
Несомненно, идеальный саундтрек для начала чёрной вдовы 🕷
same
I came here after seeing black widow movie.
I will miss my fav female superhero onscreen now😭.
Avengers won't ever be the same again!!!
Yeah and iron man dying and captain getting old
Atleast we got Yelena
Mon Prakae she's going to be a villain I think
I do wish Black Widow got a sequel, but since she’s dead, the chances are it won’t :(
Yeah she’s my favourite to, she’s an icon
The opening of this movie really was one of the best openings I’ve ever seen. I don’t want to jump to conclusions after seeing it once and call it the best ever, but GEEZ this song really hit me, and that whole sequence in general. Absolutely amazing!!! :D
I agree. You couldn’t imagine how impressed and amazing I was during the opening. It was truly epic as hell.
it fits black widow so well, it caught me off guard how perfect it was
As the movie started I got goose bumps listening to this song. One of my favourite songs by Kurt Kobain. Unbelievable.
The opening of Black widow cant be described with words
Nirvana, the band that defined my youth, to hear a cover that is finally worth their legacy and sure Nirvana would approve of it....so dark, so deep...
This is the only cover I have ever loved of Nirvana
This intro song was amazing. It gives me goosebumps every time. Black Widow was an amazing movie, and I'm glad we finally got to experience Natasha's past.
Yeah but its so sad that this will be the last time natasha appeared in MCU☹️
I actually just stopped the movie and went on YT to listen to this before continuing.. so GOOD
I totally would have done that if I hadn’t seen the movie in the theaters. And it was sick in the theaters’!!!!
@@elliottfitzgerald First time I went to this theatre near me in a long time since over a year ago.
It was so worth it
Same to me😁
This song made my CRY, I've never cried so much over a marvel movie, they did amazing and showed they weren't fucking with us for this movie. 😩
This version give me the chills. The black widow movie’s intro was SO good.
I was waiting for YEARS to have this cover officially on spotify!! When I watched the movie and heard the beginning of this song in the opening sequence I almost screamed bc this masterpiece FINALLY got immense recognition!!
WoW just WoW, a cover that fits the scene perfectly!
When this song was played in the Black Widow movie, I can't stop my tears. The Red Room and all, it's just a movie but it was so real to me.
This is one the best covers I’ve ever heard, I remember when I used to listen to this song (original version )all the time but when I heard this cover on the black widow opening credit scene ...wow.
I HAVENT SEEN BLACK WIDOW BEFORE BUT I HEARD THIS SONG FROM AN EDIT OR SOME SHI AND I FUKIN LOVE IT SO MUCH
This song and the opening was so poetic in such an emotional and dark way. I hope they can have more movies with this kind of theme. I wish we could have had a black widow trilogy. To be able to see her grow through the mcu would have been wonderful to see and then to see more of her and Yelena’s relationship. 😔😢😭
I feel the same way too. Seeing a trilogy of Black Widow with two follow ups would’ve been nice. And it honestly sucks that Black Widow died in Avengers: Endgame because she was a better female avenger then Captain Marvel, and to see Captain Marvel stay in the MCU, but to see Black Widow gone, makes me feel disappointed. My thoughts definitely relate to your comment.
I know Kurt didn’t like Smells Like Teen Spirit, but I’m sure he would’ve loved this. Rest In Peace 💛
Who is Kurt
@@vision5092 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana.
really? he didn't like it???
@@gabrielle6438 i believe it was the fact that he didn't think it was his best work yet it blew up so much
@@gabrielle6438 I think he grew really tired of having to sing it so much, and resented that it became an anthem of a generation, with him as the leader of that generation.
Ngl my girl friend and I are watching the whole marvel timeline in order and I was tired after Civil War so she put on Black Widow for herself. I heard this playing in my sleep and immediately woke up and downloaded it. And finished the movie. One of the best covers I’ve ever heard. Not saying it’s better than the OG cuz Kurt is a legend but this is a while different vibe. And it’s perfect
One of the best Nirvana Covers I ever heard
This intro even though dark, make me like Black Widow even more! Its like the movie embraces the darkness and thrives to use it! LOVE IT
Shes one of my fav superheroes, they took an old already EPIC song and turned it into their own. So exquisitely haunting. Wow!
This version is even better than the original, chills
i almost cried during the intro in black widow. this song fits so well
Its a great intro. Mcu did great with black widow intro.
Serious vibe song!! All the visuals in the beginning just fueled it even more so!!
I wish Marvel had more darker movies like Black Widow. The movie felt very real (for the most part) and I want to see more of that!
honestly with the productions of this movie i totally forgot that it was part of the MCU
Until the end scene at least
Literally, this intro was the best music and scene mix I’ve ever seen. Marvel needs to work like that again.
It's the best movie opening ever...
When this song had started, I've already cried a lot.
Black widow film is a masterpiece and i can watch again and again💯💯
Gives me goosebumps and hits hard on black widow
CHILLS ALL OVER ME
Usually I devour my cinema snacks/popcorn at breakneck speed in the first 5/10 mins of the movie. I really couldn't with this. Couldn't tear my eyes away
This song fit so damn well with black widow!
it's sounds sad and epic at the same time
The beginning of Black Widow really shook me. It fit the movie vibe so well and I sat on my seat feeling the mind washing of human trafficking and the things Natasha and the girls in the Red Room went through. The beginning of this movie was so powerful and it’s easily (at least in my opinion) one of the best movies in the MCU. This movie was so dark and gritty and it didn’t shy away from the horrors of human trafficking and the trauma that people face if they ever escape. Anyway, the cover of this song gave me chills, and it really fit Nat’s story and the movie as a whole. I believe it was the best opening credits scene in an entire Marvel movie
Agreed.
The year long delay I feel added to it as well, as it was so worth it.
@@RYMAN1321 I unfortunately disagree. I feel the opening was great but the rest of the movie failed to align with the tone and style that it established.
The intro to Black Widows was the best overall intro to ever intro ..
I love Black Widow! It’s an awesome movie! I can watch it over again like the rest of the Marvel movies😊👊🏾👊🏾
If only Scarlett and Disney weren´t soooo dramatic, such drama when both of them gain again a lot of money only with this movie without many teathers.
@@verachyrikinscarlosraul6825 the lawsuit was later resolved in September, which I’m glad Scarlett and Disney both worked it out at least.
@@darkhorse944 They did?, great news.
When nirvana performed this song for the first time in the UK it was on top of the pops . However the producers wanted nirvana to fake it and they said they would only perform if they were live.
The live version they did do was very similar to this cover and was nirvana taking the piss.
Not even slightly into this cover but I'm happy it should open nirvana for a wider audience.
“Don’t say that. Please don’t say that, it was real to me.”
Heart-breaking.
Watched it today. The best movie opening ever. It was just everything
It honestly fits really well with Black Widow and now I also enjoy listening to it
Obviously this remake brought cobaine back to like for 3 minutes. Greatest remake ever
So far all the big hero's have their own unique song now black widow has hers
If you don't Nirvana already, you need to listen to them!
I love how everyone is taking about that one scene in black widow
It's what music normally has, just TV show and Movie comments but past that , the cover is more emo than anything else I heard off
@@empressluna1783 bro it literally says black widow opening, ofc theres gonna be movie comments
The intro to Black Widow had no business being that good and emotional. Im pretty sure I cried when I saw it for the first time, I was so shocked because I’ve never seen something like that in a MCU movie before, and it was at that moment I knew that the movie was going to be epic.
I saw black widow 4 days ago in the cinema, and I cried my eyes out in the intire movie. UGHHH THIS IS JUST PERFECT✨
I usually don't like covers, but this one is great!
The film was spectacular. It not only bring you fun and exciting 2 hours, but it shows a lot of important topics we should think about more. Watching the intro alone was for me like head-on collision with problems like those. I walk out of the cinema so much more aware
What a magnificent cover and so very fitting for the opening of Black Widow. I was not expecting this, and my jaw was literally on the floor during this sequence. This is every bit as good as the opening sequence in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (cover of The Inmigrant song, originally by Led Zeppelin). A+! BRAVO!
I seriously didn't expect this cover song when I watched the movie but I thought it was fantastic. Covers are hard to get right and this one added to the film.
i have never cried on an opening scene like this, i cried my so bad the theatre, it really suits the story
Man, this stirred up so many emotions when I sat to watch Black Widow at the weekend. Such a good cover of a classic
Forget about black widow, this song is amazing 🤩
The opening of this movie and Deadpool two got me in tears
maybe the best remake that I have ever heard. Kurt's lyrics in this setting give them a profundity that the original version doesn't. Incredible.
When I was watching the beginning of Black Widow, and the scene with the song gave me some chills. It was interesting and kind of a little scary, if you know what I mean. It's just, that some people might have gone through it.
A haunting rendition.
This song literally gives me chills. I love it so much and I love the Black Widow movie
Fits Black Widows Vibe perfectly
Black widow was the movie I saw on my first ever date. With my now recent ex, and anytime I listen to this I bawl my eyes out and think of his warm, handsome face. I love the song alot. It's It's beautiful, and I cant stop listening to it and I don't know why.
Yelena has no one left now *silent crying*
everyone was so quiet in the cinema and i got goosebumps i almost cried damn marvel‼️
Saw someone use this in a Teen Titans trailer, that was fan made, but genuinely really good
The opening scene had me in tears, I was not expecting that
The intro of the story + this masterpiece = getting hyped af 🔥🔥🔥
99% black widow

Respect for her that she can make this song more understanding...
Like same lyrics but this hits different not like you're a villain or hero...
But more like more human, that not everything has to make sense, that it's okay to be different. She tells a story in this song and i think she underrated just because of the movie black widow
When you hear SLTS by Nirvana, you can still hear the person striving and feel their struggle.
When you hear this is like the struggle is still there but the hope and strive is gone.
Nirvana is how I felt as a teen. This is how I feel as an adult.
i love this song so much in the film IT fits so good
This cover gives me actual chills.
This song is the opening credits made me cry
I've known this cover for years now. Hearing it again brings back so much nostalgia.
The intro to Black Widow with this song hit the feels hard. The Red Room is no joke and the song fits
One of the best MCU openings.
When I first heard this in the intro of Black Widow, I was pretty shocked. It's so "emotional" and really was showing that MCU was trying to something different. Not to mention, the song caught my attention and I was so confused on what it was called, I'm so glad I found it Ú_Ù
The only part of Black Widow where I actually was emotionally invested.
I fell inlove with this song.
Mate that's REALLY GOOD created work 【SONG】︎💪 I'm LIKED it 🔥
Deffo in the top five marvel opening sequences ever. Just behind Infinity War, Endgame, Ragnarok and Guardians.
The opening credit scene some made me feel more emotions than I have ever felt before
My jaw dropped when I saw this part. They were clearly not screwing around.
this song gave me chills on a whole different level 😳
I get emotional with this song and the beginning of the movie black widow paired together. It’s very hard not to cry.
I can’t be the only one who prefers this version over the original. I mean don’t get me wrong they are both great but something about this just *chefs kiss*
Original is way better but this is good to
In my opinion
nirvana really dominating the superhero movies, first this wonderful cover and then Something in the Way in the batman trailer
This Song hits Strong. Damn Strong!
