Man this is going to stir the pot. Someone hand me some popcorn! You did a great job on the video. Something I would of loved to see was more detailed statistics of the experience. My only fear now is every creator is going to go replicate this video for views and then the whole integrity of creators will go to shit. Guess we will see. Edit: for the people misunderstanding what I mean about integrity of creators - First person to do in a proper informative manner (g0at) can get away with it. Every person from here on is doing it for the wrong reasons (any creator who makes a video the same as this to be informative).
Common Pestily W. Seen a few Tarkov streamers like Veritas really angry about this video and thinking that this stuff is common knowledge when it really isn't.
Nothing to fear, you guys are the voice of the community. Noone will listen to me or the next nobody just trying to enjoy tarkov when we say cheaters are ruining the game. If something is to be done about these issues, the creators must come together and bring this to light, show BSG that tolerating cheaters for the sake of profits is not a way to go forward. Too much is too much. Or we can all just pretend there aren't cheaters in at least half the raids and let this circle of madness continue until the last legit player quits...
I’ve reported every single person that’s killed me for two wipes because I’m a spiteful, angry little man. Turns out I was probably right 50% of the time. Good vid
That feeling when you were most deff right. It sucks but it also feels good. Too bad they didnt message us when we got one banned tho, would made playing more worth it.
honestly yeah, i barely survived any raids, let alone any combat, but thats because my computer was shit and it would freeze for like 1/4 of a second every time i got shot, but now im wondering if the ones where i was just shot out of nowhere are cheaters
The worst part is if you look back at other cheaters doing this kind of video showing their jank cheats you really cannot tell if any death was legitimate or not. Wether it's desync, a jank aimbot that's slower than players reaction, or just straight cheating and playing it off well. Hell ppl can be just using radar to easily locate you and still have to use their fps skills to kill you. It's soo bad.

@@lajf28 Aye they still are bad, even if not immediately. Free loot for people who wouldn't normally get it, that causes an imbalance in the economy over time.
Human psychology in this instance is so interesting. Normally, someone would probably be pretty hesitant to let on that they're cheating, but the moment they know you're also cheating, you're suddenly in their "group" and warrant a base level of trust above the average player.
It might be because they think that the opposite team has just as much to lose as they do and they relate to it, what do they lose? One tarkov account.
This makes me feel so much better for never cheating in Tarkov. Look at the things I've achieved while playing without cheats and while surrounded by cheaters. I'm awesome.
Same here. Last year I only play night raid in low traffic servers, and I got 20.1kd(99% are ai scavs)I never went to Labs Lighthouse Reserve, and most of time I just sat in a corner wait 20 minutes then started to loot and kill bots.
And this returns memories of years ago where the Tarkov devs were making the outrageous claims that their game, by its very design, was impossible to cheat in. And everyone laughed.
@@Zanaki113 had a friend that quit cod for tarkov because he didn't want to deal with cheaters anymore lol. All anti cheat does is at least stop the rage hackers lol
The worst thing you can do gloat about how your game is uncheatable, they'll accept it as a challenge and wear it like a badge of honor. After all, breaking the rules of a game is not even a foreign concept in gaming culture, some games even encourage it.
Heard about you from a War Thunder forum. Apparently some guy pulled off something similar on WT by infiltrating hacker communities, and then sent the source code to Gaijin. Supposedly 20,000 accounts got banned yesterday. Keep doing gods work my guy.
when they say “infiltrating”, they mean going on unknowncheats and sending a pasted source lol. i mean its what ItsGamerDoc does, he thinks he’s a cheat developers nightmare when he does exactly what i described.
Cheating is a bigger deal in Tarkov because you lose all your gear. That’s why it hurts so much. In counterstrike for example, when you get cheated against, you don’t lose your valuable inventory.
Idk, I never met any cheaters, they don't bother me but I mostly play at in-game night with good gear etc. Every RIP I have is normal, I usually fire at people first because Im stealthy Idk, but for me EFT is one of the least cheater-infested games I played, it's pure fun
@@olgagaming5544 "Good" kits, cheaters avoid woods because it's basically just new players (kits that aren't worth anything), if there is one in the lobby, you're too far away with a kit that's not worth anything. How the fuck can you deny that?
This basically means that every raid you didn't get killed by a cheater, was because they LET you live. They were probably looting, and you didn't cross their path so they avoided you. This is sick.
I hope you cover this on your channel, even as a shorter chopped up react and discuss kind of video on the main channel. You've been highly critical of BSG in the past and for good reason, now I think you might've just found another
What pissed me off about tarkov for a few wipes is. I am not great at pvp. But whenever I brought a nice meta gun + armor I got from killing another player. I’d go into another raid and instantly die. Looking back, cheaters just seen my value of loot and low kd. Think it’s fine to just rage hack me. Thinking I’d not know any better, and not report them. It was the correct assumption. Always thought I was just cursed. Never knew cheating was that bad, despite the rumors of it.
All multiplayer FPS games (and hell, most competitive multiplayers) are like this. I'd just stay away from them in general, I highly doubt the cheater issue is ever going to be fixed since most of these developers directly profit from cheaters. There are so many better ways to spend one's time than playing against cheaters.
this is one of the most, if not THE MOST important Tarkov videos ever made. You're the content creator that Tarkov doesn't deserve, but desperately needs. Thank you for your work.

When Luke said. "I would rather know i got beaten by someone legitimate than someone cheating, that feeling is so much better" I whole heartedly agree.
When half the fucking matches are ruined by cheats the game is no longer interesting. So many insta headshot deaths despite the average gamer not being good enough to do that and the high recoil in the game.. So many prefires, people holding the perfect angle, long range shots.. It's not fun with this many cheaters.
great investigative journalism. i feel like this video pushed nikita to make a public proclamation hopefully they use this tactic to track and mass ban people
@@famulanrevengeance3044 the number of people who want to pretend like it’s completely normal is ridiculous. So many people want to make Tarkov look like a hardcore game that has the best fps players out of any other game, when in reality most players actually suck and will never have the opportunity to get better because they’re playing against people who can kill them long before it’s even possible for them to interact. Such a large portion of Tarkov gameplay is literally dying to people that you’ll never even know existed. This is coming from someone who’s played this game for over 1000 hours over the last 2 years, most of that time was spent during my first year playing. I’d consider myself someone who’s had a lot of experience in Tarkov and I’ll be the first to tell you that the game will never amount to anything more than it currently is, it’s actually so sad because I fell in love with the game and made some great memories.
@@JuSSayZ Plus, Tarkov doesn't give you alot of 'time on target', you don't get much experience shooting other players. Even with a few hundred hours, weapon recoil changes all the time. You can finally sneak up on people, you can use map knowledge, you can push, you can nade. Without this horrible fucking feeling that they have supernatural knowledge and ability due to their cheats.
the wiggle used to be the universal sign of being friendly in multiplayer shooters, back to arma 2 dayz mod days, it hurts my soul to know cheaters have taken it for themselves now

Thank you for having the balls and the intellect to create this video man, this is what the game needs right now. Either BSG turn around and fix this mess, or the game will die a sad, unnecessary and preventable death. Even if they try to take it down it gives a clear statement from their side to the community: hands off until this shit is fixed. Also i'd like to mention that people in tarkovs 850k main subreddit are actively getting banned and their content removed for posting any facts about the current state of the game, including your video.

BSG has had enough chances to do something about it, but never thought it was necessary. There's plenty of methods to catch cheaters, but BSG just tries to go the easy way and act like the issue wasn't as big as it actually is.

@@Ok-um5ho It's not generally hard to find pirated copies of cheat programs, so a lot of them probably didn't pay for it. But given how many different cheat programs there are advertising pretty steep prices, it's likely a lot of people are paying for it. Given that the cheats are selling in the range of $100 a month, not many 8 year olds could afford to do it, and they're not likely to get away with using Mommy and Daddy's credit cards undetected. So you're mostly left with nobody but 30+ year olds. And there's always the simple argument that if you think a couple bucks on a cheat program is a big issue, maybe you should get a better job, slacker. While I don't have that kind of money, the fact is that people who can afford these cheats are actually doing better financially that those who can't, which implies they're actually doing better at that outside world thing than you or me. I do feel like you're projecting here a bit though. People playing games with cheats doesn't in any way suggest they're addicted to games, nor that any "high" they get from gaming requires cheats. It's more like someone who just plays on easy mode, which is statistically more likely to be someone who isn't terribly good, and therefore someone who doesn't actually play that much. I've spent probably over 2,000 hours of my life being an admin for servers on Urban Terror and CoD-4. At this point, every FPS game is pretty much swamped with cheaters. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just living in ignorant bliss.
Yeah I realized this a long time ago, I feel genuinely bad for people who waste hundreds/thousands of hours playing competitive FPS games legit. There are so many ways to spend your time and so many hobbies to pick up, hell there are so many good single player / non competitive games out there it's insane to waste so much time getting packed up by cheaters.
I honestly am broken after watching this, knowing that my routine/tactic in maps is likely being seen by people and they are just ignoring me because I don’t have something they want or I’m not in their way feels so demoralising. It invalidates everything about the game and it’s direction. The worst part is (like Luke said) is this ‘bro’ attitude they have. Like ‘us’ versus ‘them’. There’s no respect. I do love this game. I learnt how to build a PC and playing tarkov was partially one of the reasons why because I was so tired of the triple A generic shooters. I remember if they had multiple servers, it would save your position. So when you got the drop on some players, they would take cover, disconnect after getting your position. Then they would reconnect on another server in the same spot, flank you completely safe from fire, jump in your server and shoot you in the back. Not a hack but still cheating by gaming the system.

I watched Trey's stream shortly after this video came out and he titled it something like "NO DRAMA COOL VIBES OR ELSE." He was playing on interchange and eventually got domed in a really sus way. Trey admitted how odd it was and you could feel the awkwardness as he tried to move on like it wasn't a problem. Someone commented that he should've "wiggled". It was pretty funny.
trey the lil bich is crying about every death as cheater these days, entirely unfollowed him lolll cheaters r a part of the game, no point in accusing every 2nd person as cheater
This explains so much. I played this game for about 2 years, was never "Great" at it, but I was probably average. I remember so many of my deaths being the typical "How did they even know I was there?" Deaths aside from the other "Ok no idea where that dude shot me from". This also explains times where I would go AFK and hide my PMC in the most obscured vacant location, only to come back after 10 minutes to the post raid lobby to see a PMC killed me. There were so many instances where that happened. Seeing how common the cheaters are in this video, confirms my suspicions. I'm glad I stopped playing this game last year.
Can't believe you lasted 2 years. When I first played the game it was great.. but when I came back and cheating had literally become the meta I quit after a few sessions. Nothing could be more frustrating.
Cheaters are super common in survival games tarkov in particular because they went round on huge banning streaks but then ended up with them cheaters just getting new accounts and using cheats again..
Great video bro! I've just started Tarkov, whilst this hasn't put me off.. it's given me an excuse that is better than I'm just not good at the game at the moment 😂 Loved the video, thanks!
Yes, it's all about the overall size of the sample. Up to 10 matches versus over 100 or 1000, we'd have a really decent idea where 10,000 matches should stand. Even then, are we going to sample randomly or would there be a much different result when teams or clans get involved...
Yep. And as he said, most of them won't bother with you until you get close to them. I've had situations like that where they literally faked not realizing i am there. Then they turn around and head eyes me instantly with just one shot. Scavs even.
Sorry but it was totaly bullshit... This is just no real Player-experience! OLD Timer here: The thing that messes with me the most is as the years went by my deaths in the game became more and more suspicious. Then i decided to make it more obvious (looking at walls following people etc) and after people started calling me out for it...i finally got banned. That's the thing with cheaters... people expect some dude spinning around like the tasmanian devil and headshoting everybody from miles away. And while that is a possible scenario... Most cheaters won't be very obvious about it
[LONG POST. TLDR AT THE END] When I found this out last year I felt the same way. At that point I clocked about 850 hours into the game over the previous year. There were always moments when I thought “wow that death was so sudden, there’s no way I could’ve possibly reacted to that,” but I considered the fact that perhaps the Tarkov player base was just that good, after all I’d lined up a few hundred clean headshots myself at that point and knew how quick death could rain in Tarkov. Then I saw a similar video to this and it was terrible. I actually loved this game, and still love it, but now whenever I play it I just get sad because I know that the game and I myself as a player will never grow. Growth can only happen when every player is given the same opportunity to survive, but I could be the best Tarkov player in the world and die in 40-60% of my raids just because I don’t have ESP and the next guy does. I could go on a 10 kill game and then load up and die in the first 10 seconds. There’s rarely an opportunity to survive when you might’ve died in Tarkov, because so many of your deaths come from hackers. I even began thinking that it’s a conspiracy, the issue has existed for many many years now so it feels like battlestate isn’t taking any issue. They made changed to the black market that prevented hackers from profiting as much, but in reality the ones who suffered the most were genuine players. Hackers can survive raids easily, players have a much harder time surviving raids in lobbies full of hackers, the amount of loot that players can sell on the black market was drastically reduced whereas now hackers just need to bunker down in raid for an extra 10 minutes and they can sell everything they looted. It appears to me like battlestate is fine with the hacker issue because after the hackers sell their rubels or keycards online, they get banned and buy another copy of the game and do it again. The existence of hackers incentivizes players to buy rubels online, because they lose all their gear and money dying to hackers and then they want a little more just to keep pushing for another month. This way, the hackers profit off of an issue they created, and battlestate profits by allowing it just long enough for the hackers to profit and come back again to profit some more. TLDR; Battlestate Games pimps out their players to hackers, hackers which then profit off the players desperation to stop being pimped. Battlestate doesn’t sell games, they’re selling a business venture to hackers and software developers. For hackers, buying a new EFT account is just like buying a tool to replace windows, BSG is the manufacturer of the tools and the person who sold you the house next to the hacker, the player’s either move out or pay the hackers to fix the windows which hackers broke.
to quote my friend when I caught him out fly hacking in Minecraft after playing together for like 3 years at that point "I wouldn't have gotten away with it for this long if I used it while people were watching"

Someone did this years ago, but looked at Labs specifically. He went on a large number of raids with ESP and saw that nearly all raids had at least one cheater in it.
I did this in 1999/2000 with Quake 2 and counter-strike. Found plenty of cheaters. This is why I started playing coop games with some old guys around 2008. I can only imagine it's much worse now. Back then not alot knew enough to build a nice gaming PC. The community was smaller and better. Now every lil dickhead is online. I mostly stick to Coop / MMO now.
There are radar only cheaters, which cant see you QE-ing. The original "wiggle" is the radar wiggle which is looking left/right/left/right several times so they can see you "wiggle" on their radar map. Btw i stopped playing tarkov after i realized how many cheaters there were... This was 2 yrs ago, and as i can see i missed nothing. Followed SPTarkov since then, fun too.
can't wait for some mouthbreather to equate you with adolf hitler because you have the sheer AUDACITY to play the game the way you prefer, because mods in multiplayer games (even when they are specifically made to turn the game into a singleplayer experience that might very well be the most corporation-friendly example of such in the world) are pretty much equal to cheating, and you're not even playing the same game besides, so why not just like play Jenga or something? or i don't know, maybe now that even the blindest of ostrichs have a hard time denying that there is something fundamentally WRONG with the experience as it stands, maybe now we'll get less of those comments. wouldn't hold my breath, though - not even if i was posting this from the marianas trench. sorry about that. been met with outright misinformation, unjustified hostility, and being labeled a "cheater" because i preferred learning the maps on SPT. maybe more people will come around, maybe the AKI crew will get a go-ahead from BSG, and maybe we can finally get rid of the cheaters as well. hope you've enjoyed your time with SPT so far - it's a great way to destress after the 5th consecutive head/eyes from XiaongMingLing in a row
@@uwu_smeg Yes i enjoy SPT a lot. At the beginning i just modded it further myself which was incredible fun. Its the last feature missing t obe legendary. Btw i never heard someone calling SPT players cheaters...this would be pretty stupid anyways.
This! 100%... SP Tarkov has no cheaters thus I can play night raids. Impossible to do during this wipe and I play like 3/4 of the raids at night / sunset. I just love the atmosphere. The thing you said about COOP is another point I fully agree on. Their attitude towards single player and dictating how you have to play THEIR game is what will be their downfall. Sooner or later more people will be fed up. It happened to many games recently, where devs were thinking they were doing the right thing. An ONLINE COOP mode, with a seperate profile would not hurt anybody. Imagine it like a PvE server in an MMORPG.
@@helmut6630 Yes, just another instance like Path of Exile does. You got the live season and then you got your no-wipe Coop/MP. Everyone would be happy. Everyone but the cheaters because they had to deal more and more with themselves. You mentioned stealth/night play. This brings me to another major issue with the game. The AI! The AI ist just not fun as it is right now and makes such a playstyle obsolete. They see you in the dark, through obsticles no matter what. The AI is bad af so they need aimbot and max awareness to make it somehow "challanging". If its not on purpose, its bad work (or taste).
SPT is much more fun imo. I bought Tarkov to try it out and it was just frustrating, but I love playing with bots, you can choose your own difficulty, you can mod it to high heaven, and you can actually have fun. If we could play SPT COOP Tarkov would die and that's why BSG will never allow it until they give up on Tarkov entirely.

This is absolutely going to hurt Tarkov so hard, I know how hard it is to make anticheat but damn, they're going to absolutely have to try to pull all the stops to get rid of this
Personnally I didn't need this proof to suspect the game to have some cheaters. I'm pretty sure everybody has been killed a weird way, multiple times. Sometimes you could think you're just bad, but when you're pretty sure you were stealth and made quite no noise, and got killed the short moment you're in sight of another player that you couln't see : it's reasonable to think that there is something else than just skill.
Luke's response was brutal to listen to. The disappointment in his voice shows how much he loves this game, and how these cheaters just destroy that enjoyment.
With what he is showcasing, basically advertising what cheats could actually do to "help" especially when you suck at the game, is probably doing the opposite of what he is intending to do. Know his heart is in the right place, but he's basically giving free advertising for the hacks out there.
@@Gaetano.94 disagree. My take away from this is why so many people refuse to come back to this game. It’s a extremely common issue swept under the rug and ignored by the developers. It’s the number 1 problem facing the game currently, next to connection / desync issues. I never once watched this and thought “I need cheats”. Unless Tarkov decides to take this issue head on, most of the community will shy away from the game.
Cheaters are the reason I stopped playing the game. Played it since 2018, but haven't touched it this wipe. I know Tarkov has many cheaters, but I didn't know it was this bad. Made me question everybody. Got really paranoid. The ear-deafening silence from BSG about the severity about this problem is just a big slap in the face. Are they actively trying not to adress this? You, g0at, have done a lot to bring this issue to light. Thank you!
bsg posted the standard pr answer on reddit, made it sticky so everyone has to read it. its just a joke. "we do everything we can" "there are soon coming new updates" "its your fault for not reporting" "now report more so every cheater gets banned" "thank you for bringing the attention to an already know issue" the good thing is that they are too stupid to give a real response and will lose a lot of players and hopefully have to get some anticheat because videos like this will be now everywhere on youtube.

One thing to note is that they do not always have ESP. they could be using radar. So they know your position and lock onto you by using the traces on the radar which is on another screen. If they are using radar, they will not see your wiggle. The situations where they know where you are but do not wiggle are likely due to radar.
Cheaters are everywhere. Anyone who says otherwise either can't identify obvious signs of fuckery, or they're a cheater who's trying to downplay the prevalence of what they're up to themselves. The only proof I need came with the Bungie lawsuits against several developers of cheat software. They had to quantify the damages in order to settle on an amount to sue each developer for, and their LOW ESTIMATES still put the number of CONFIRMED cheaters in the tens of thousands. Unless you can prove that Destiny is somehow an exception to the rule on that point, you have no reason to argue that PvP shooters aren't filled with cheaters purely as a matter of probability. Edit: alright, fellas, how about this... PUBG has a stable peak playerbase on PC of around 700,000 people. Every week, the developer bans 50,000 of them. That means that, on average, a full 100-player lobby will have AT LEAST six or seven cheaters in it. You want to talk about a guarantee of fuckery, literally every single lobby is statistically going to have at least TWO FUCKING TEAMS of cheaters. And that's assuming that they're cheating as teams, rather than having six or seven cheaters distributed among six or seven teams. I'm telling you right now, the only people saying that the cheating situation isn't that bad have ZERO idea what they're talking about.
i would say 90% of cheaters are the pve typ of player, they dont care for competition pvp. Sometimes they go rampage because they got killed even with the cheats on..
When I first played Tarcov it was great. Truly immersive experience.. then I came back 9 months later. I had been given a nice specked out weapon as a promo, I hid in some grass not moving, I wasn't gonna lose this thing, Suddenly some guy came running up behind me and stabbed me, he knew exactly where I was. The second round I got the drop on two guys, approached slowly, 1 then baited me while the other poped out less than half a second later for a headshot, nobody could do that if they were surprised. 3rd round I heard someone moving around.. I didn't move for 3 minutes and just waited rifle pointed at the door from the room corner, he blew me away instantly. It's ridiculous that a game about realism is just a battleground for people robbing the intention of the experience. I miss that original experience alot.
First example, yea cheater for sure. Second example? you have to understand you make a lot of noise when you walk, I really think these two heard you. Third example is peekers advantage. Depending on the patch it can be real bad, it is real bad right now with the current patch, was bad 3 wipes ago too. Being aggressive rewards HEAVILY in this game, you have a very big advantage. This is why it is so hard to discern legit players from cheaters. If you play a lot, you will know what is possible and what is impossible. I can tell you from experience, gun fights don't end in 10 seconds. Sure if you play with friends, 1 might get dropped but even against veteran Tarkov players, you have a proper battle.
@@j4ck3t Yeh I can't be 100% sure on those last 2, In that second instance. I had stopped moving and was camping around a corner. While they were running around full speed seemingly unaware for at least a minute or 2. It was a perfect ambush spot, there was no easy way to flank me but I'd still need to be lucky for them to come my direction, just a big box in the middle of the mall alley, out of nowhere they went quiet, 1 peekabood from the right side of the box super quick while the other head-shotted me from the left all in less than half a second. It truly felt like I was punished for being extra careful and sneaky instead of rushing them before they noticed me through the wall.
Get good. Cheaters or not by the small descriptions I noticed you are a passive player that doesn’t like to move alot. In eft that player is often a dead player
This creates doubt in every single player, every single round and every death. That is going to be very difficult for Tarkov to overcome. This is going to have lasting impacts
Good. BSG has been sitting on their hands for too fucking long. I quit playing the official version when it became apparent that BSG wasn't going to do anything significant to stop the cheaters. The offline mods can be lonely and less challenging by a wide margin, but at least I can play the game without worrying about getting aim-botted and wall-hacked.
I think your putting it mildly, the % of cheaters in EFT is 75%-85% of the total players and BSG is ok with it because for reasons unknown to almost every commenter here (myself included) lots of ppl like playing this game with cheats, if BSG "fixed it" (remember fixing it doesn't mean patching the game it just means allowing cheats to be detected) their total player number will go down, BSG won't fix it ever and I'd bet a months salary on that!
Is it going to be difficult to overcome? Isn't this the norm? I am asking legitimately because I gave up PC multiplayer FPS over a decade ago... because cheaters were rampant and it was just no longer fun. At one time, privately ran and somewhat moderated servers were a common thing. Cheaters existed but they were easy enough to sniff out and ban. Once that stopped being a common thing because the publishers needed everybody in the company servers for MTX and silly achievement trinkets... I knew it was all downhill and I nope'd out of the genre. So I guess I'm surprised that anybody is surprised by this content... I just assumed that this would be the norm... that everybody involved in these games just deals with it. I've played maybe four hours of GTA:Online... and was killed by griefers a bunch of times... and probably a few cheaters... and then was showered by money hacks by another half dozen cheaters. I seriously did nothing be get wrecked while occasionally pocketing millions of hack dollars. It was a bizarre experience. As far as my old man gen-x ass can tell, online gaming is a wasteland.
@@control_the_pet_population The only thing you can do is play games with servers with active admins. There will never be an anticheat to stop every hack because new hacks come out and can't be kept up with and never will be. Sometimes admins ban legit players but sometimes an admin is the only way to get rid of a hacker before his hack is added to the anticheat database because they can watch a player and tell when he does completely fake bs a real player would never do. GTA Online is a cesspit and always because the developers couldn't be fucked to balance the game and wanted to sell Sharkcards and other garbage, they'd rather make money off the players who want to to pay to be overpowered than to make a balanced enjoyable mp game. I'd only ever play GTA Online on a private server with friends but even then, it's far less fun than I had with the SA-MP mod
A few years ago I guess in 2018, a small Russian content maker on Tarkov made a video "Interview with a cheater in Tarkov" about how much they earn, how this business works, how much they earn on RMT, how much software costs, how much software developers receive and how BSG is involved in this. In that video, the BSG were accused of being directly involved, as it is profitable for them to make money from cheaters who constantly buy accounts. After some period of time, this blogger was banned from the game and the forum, and the video was bombarded with complaints and removed from RUclips.
27:35 Thats what people saying "its just pixels, dont bother about loosing it" dont get....I cared about the item, but I care even more about the TIME it took to get it. Losing time overrides anything.
Yeah .. and consider the fact that sometimes you had to swap to servers that took you several minutes to even join. And you had to choose them to be "safe" from the "better players".
I am a Korean Tarkov streamer. The video was really meaningful. This season is really serious. I will share this video with my community so that other Tarkov users can see it. Thank you for making a good video.
The thing is we need a death cap or replay from the killer's POV. We don't need an instant replay but whenever the server closes the match, it should send out replays available for people who died so they can know what happened. This way we can know for sure if the person is actually cheating or not. Another advantage of this is that it is a video recording of people who are cheating and the process to ban these players are going to easier and more effective.
Just needs to be after ur squad is dead or out it would no longer matter then. should be a godmode view tho that u can see people through walls from to see the whole scene.

About the replay system that Luke suggested... I wanted to share my experience from Dota. In Dota 2 you can request a replay of that match after it's over. It's then automatically processed and prepared for download. One day a had a particularly one-sided game, but it felt weird... Usually when the game is one-sided you can feel it since the start, you can tell that the opposing players are better in how they do stuff, or they had a 'lucky' first several engagements and your team just fell behind. But not this game. This game it always felt like the opposing team's, for a lack of a better term, 'resource management' was bad. The net worth difference felt like it should be way higher considering the play the were making (and there were Plays...). I was convinced that at least some of them were cheating... After the game, i've downloaded the replay and went through spots that i thought they couldn't possibly seen us. Turns out they could... There were wards in unusual places, which, while not providing the best vision, were perfect for being hard to find, while still providing enough vision to be able to anticipate our movements. The opposing team was just good in a weird way. That's it. As i've watched the replay, i've actually calmed down and caught myself praising Valve for this tool.
Valve really is a excellent company. People are calling for a Kernel level anti-cheat, like valorant, but it is just so invasive, and it doesn’t fix false flags. Whereas valve is making VACNET, which may take longer to perfect, but it will be harder to crack, and will be far less problematic for regular players.
League of Legends also has a replay system. I've been playing it since 2010 (sad I know), and 100s of times I've gone back to check replay.. its almost always lag, weird hitboxes etc.. I think ONCE in my 13 years playing I've found someone that I was 100% sure was cheating. BUT having the replay system is SOOO nice, and its great to learn what I did wrong.
DotA definitely does have both cheaters and a serious effort from Valve to stop them, they just had a ban of 40,000 accounts at once for it from putting a honeypot in the game. Giving them credit for replays is a little iffy though, those were a feature in WarCraft 3 (and StarCraft before that) which were kinda just brought across when they acquired DotA.
Dota does such an excellent job with the user experience. I've never played a moba game before dota, decided to try it out during the pandemic and was blown away by all the QoL features it had just in the main menu. 2k hours later and its now my favorite game of all time.
@@xTheUnderscorex The idea isn't original yes. But considering DOTA 2 was build from ground up on a different engine, props to them for implementing it and not saying it's not important...
This honestly almost confirms the suspicions I've always had. I thought I was going literally insane feeling like so many deaths were fishy, but since it's the nature of Tarkov for desync and weird hit boxes you can never put your finger on it. But I'll tell you right now, the number of times I've had people seemingly waiting around the corner with their cross hairs right where my head will poke out is crazy high. The number of times I've had people seemingly b-line straight to me despite my position being ambiguous or straight up concealed. It feels like so many people know right where to look, point and click. I LOVE this game, at least, I love the idea of it. But for a game that's supposed to be tactical, calculated, and each encounter a "what if" or "what would", there are some people with surgical level precision, when the game is on a foundational level, when played as intended, totally and completely disorienting. There is an inherent level of sloppiness that cannot be avoided when played without cheats. No amount of experience or knowledge will prevent you scrambling last minute for cover, or having to make a choice between proceeding or going with plan B, heck you might have to come up with a plan C on the spot. You have to rely on sound, past experience, and often times limited visuals. Each step SHOULD be a well educated guess. Every fire fight should be nerve wracking. Every time you camp you should feel the tediousness but also the worry at the back of your mind. Tarkov when played as intended should be a stressful, yet rewarding experience. It should feel like equal parts strategy and equal parts raw FPS skill and reaction time. This CANNOT be the case when there are cheaters. This stress is cranked up to 100 when there's cheaters, and it is on top of that extremely demoralizing.
The cheating has been worse this wipe too imo. This is my third wipe and I swear the cheating is amped up so much. There has been people flying, people below the fucking ground, THERE ARE INVISIBLE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT EVEN KNOW THEY ARE INVISIBLE SOMETIMES TOO.
i agree. i do not have many hours in tarkov, (started like a month ago) but the first time I had a clear indication of someone cheating, every encounter there was afterwards had that thought in the back of my mind "did he really see me? or was he a cheater?" especially when I got into an encounter, survive, and run away, it becomes very clear who is cheating and who isnt. when chasing someone, if you want to keep yourself safe, you cannot catch up to someone who is running for their life and taking every risk. but if you are a cheater, you KNOW if you are safe to run after them or not. and you KNOW when they stop and camp a corner. when I was playing with a partner, cheaters would never chase me into his line of sight. not once. but the legit players OFTEN got dropped by him as I lay on the ground bleeding out nearby. I quit after a few weeks of that. I wanted to keep playing with my friend, but I played ALOT and every day there were suspicious players. at least one who I was confident was cheating. it wasnt fun, so i found a new game.
This comment right here is fundamentally why I mostly avoid realistic FPS games or those that proport to be realistic. Gamerz believe and want their decent senses, map awareness, tactical decision making, better reaction time and aim to be believed as the reason they beat you. In reality, that type of situation has so much luck and randomness you could do everything right, and still do something that gets you killed. War is not fair, the most skilled and most geared soldier won't always win because a bullet is a bullet and gamerz don't tolerate that. They pretend to enjoy the realism, but turn into man-child babies when they get owned by someone they deem lower. They don't enjoy the idea that some newb with a trash weapon has the patience of a treant, and could be in some position that is dangerous if they cross a certain area; or maybe they need to approach an area they've scouted from the outside pretty thoroughly but can't gaurantee that they weren't sighted first, and a camper is waiting patiently inside. Maybe such a player doesn't exist, maybe they do? They can't tolerate the unknown risk of failure so they'll cheat to restore justice against these inferiors. I've experienced campers before, and they can be annoying, but I've never considered them unfair. Then again, in most other FPS games, dying is only temporary removal and you're probably easily able to get to that exact spot and if the camper is still camping in the same spot, you will likely get revenge. Tarkov removes you entirely from the situation, never to return to the same scenario, so that player got you -- period. The next time, it will be another player and it may not be that spot. Your collective game memory needs to be better, and this, I believe is the ability "high skilled gamers" lack -- full memory and coalescing of past experiences and sane risk assessment, to patiently execute something that isn't sexy, but achieves the goal. I saw this in practice with an ex-friend of mine who thrived on Call of Duty running and gunning with speed and aim; and grew up with video controllers in his hand, versus me who took far longer and will never be as dexterous. He was clearly better than me in Call of Duty (OG MW2, I maxed at 1.4KDR, he was 2.2 IIRC), and no doubt is cleaner when it comes to controller input. But after many many matches it's clear he can never beat me in Tekken, or almost any fighting game either of us had or hadn't touched, because better execution doesn't mean you win. Putting out agression, defense, flow, feint, etc that he either can't see or can't retain the memory to read how I play so he most likely to lose in subsequent matches (and we played hundreds). And in RTS games, Starcraft 1 and 2, it was also clear he lacked the ability to remember how he got defeated quickly because he forgot to build something basic to prevent an easy loss. I haven't even finished this video yet, but I think the maker has it right. Pushing more a substantially high KDR (over 1.4) in this game, or anything that is quite punishingly realistic is huge.
@@EbonySeraphim ofcourse i am not going to read the entire rant. that would be insane just as typing it. but GAMERZ don't turn into babies when they loose. that behavior is reserved for the man child boyfriends that think they are gamerz that you are used to. the people YOU know do that. also if you don't know what the fuck you are talking about you should just go back to the kitchen and make a fucking sandwich. 1.4kd in tarkov is shamefully low. killing the npc scavs actually counts towards your kd. so if you can't even kill 2 scavs each time you die then you really shouldn't be touching a video game. a kd of 3 to 5 is average.
Unfortunately, this is not new and is not exclusive to Tarkov only, I am honestly surprised you and Luke kept playing a shooter game for as long as you did. It all started for me with Rainbow six siege, at first when the game first launched it was so much for me playing with friends because I liked to play stealthy and sneak up behind other teams, but then after a while I started to notice it was no longer effective, I know the layout of the map AND I am using the slowest walk possible which makes no sound and when I sneak behind them when they are not supposed to have vision they are already facing me, like wtf and stopped playing the game since then, it's not worth my time and effort. The 2nd time this happened with overwatch 1 at first it was fun playing ranked, then after a couple of months is started all over again, through the kill cam I saw people using aim bots (I ACTUALLY HAVE A VIDEO OF THAT ON MY CHANNEL) and I stopped playing the game since then. The 3rd time was with APEX LEGENDS, at first when the game first released it as fun, after a couple of months the same thing happened which, I also have a video on my channel for that said cheater, I also stopped playing it there and then. Now, I just chill in single player games or strategy games, because in strategy games it does not matter if you can see everything, if you are stupid, you are stupid and there is no curing that and the smarter player will win, just like in chess, you can see all the pieces at all times, but you cannot win with only seeing the pieces move. Honestly, if this is the current trend and no one finds a solution to combat this shit I am will just keep to single player or strategy games, I am in my 30s now and have limited time to play, I am not going to waste it on some bullshit game infested with hackers and cheaters.
To now know the probability of running into a cheater actually gives me inner peace atleast in those wtf moments wondering how did i just get deleted i can have the satisfaction knowing it's more likely to be some loser using hacks. Thanks for the content buddy. Subbed and liked 👊

All multiplayer FPS games (and hell, most competitive multiplayers) are like this.
I.e., the opposite of someone who is addicted.

And yes.. i only play at night because i work a day job. I did notice if i played on my lunch break i'd have good matches.
Why does every cheater unironically sound like a basement-dwelling mouthbreather.
because they are
there should be separate lobbys for cheaters. Like a shadow ban, when a person doesnt know they are only put in the games against other cheaters
Exactly that's where they will be kept isolated and will not buy new game again, but developers don't do it because if cheater gets banned they will buy the game again.
well thats not enough, think about the market, they are screwing it by obtaining ridiculous amount of high value loot
A few games have done this
@@Legoldos the market should also be separated. So cheaters will play and trade with other cheaters in their toxic little world. And non cheating part of the game will be healthy and cool. Everybody wins

Nah you simply suck at this game.

The fact that he confirmed there were cheaters in 60% of his raids, probably means about 90%+ of raids have cheaters.
Scavs even.

OLD Timer here: The thing that messes with me the most is as the years went by my deaths in the game became more and more suspicious. That's the thing with cheaters... people expect some dude spinning around like the tasmanian devil and headshoting everybody from miles away. And while that is a possible scenario... Most cheaters won't be very obvious about it
[LONG POST. TLDR AT THE END]
When I found this out last year I felt the same way.
@@urbansekkt6355 Now do that on Faceit and you'll realize that 80%+ is cheating.

can't wait for some mouthbreather to equate you with adolf hitler because you have the sheer AUDACITY to play the game the way you prefer, because mods in multiplayer games (even when they are specifically made to turn the game into a singleplayer experience that might very well be the most corporation-friendly example of such in the world) are pretty much equal to cheating, and you're not even playing the same game besides, so why not just like play Jenga or something?

This!

This brings me to another major issue with the game. The AI!
The AI ist just not fun as it is right now and makes such a playstyle obsolete.
They see you in the dark, through obsticles no matter what.
The AI is bad af so they need aimbot and max awareness to make it somehow "challanging".

I’m on my 5th or 6th wipe, I bought $5000+ worth of computer stuff JUST so I could play this game after seeing it on you tube I’m no good at it, but I love playing it. I’ve wondered how I’ve gotten worse at pvp over time (thought I was losing me reflexes, probably am) but in all the time playing I’ve only reported 1 player once for suspect play because I acknowledge I’m crap, but now I’m gutted after watching this.

Dude Destiny 2 PvP has more cheaters than legit players.

It truly felt like I was punished for being extra careful and sneaky instead of rushing them before they noticed me through the wall.
Just make tarkov for consolle, problem solved🤷♂️
Get good. Cheaters or not by the small descriptions I noticed you are a passive player that doesn’t like to move alot. In eft that player is often a dead player
@@BlancoMD There are blocks, complete components, that allow you to cheat on console.
2 years ago i made this ruclips.net/video/8yCVW6wYND0/видео.html. The was good then, don't what happened.

Hey don't get too serious about it you know.... it IS a video game after all.
Plz try marauders, we need more Korean players (and players in general)
The thing is we need a death cap or replay from the killer's POV. We don't need an instant replay but whenever the server closes the match, it should send out replays available for people who died so they can know what happened. This way we can know for sure if the person is actually cheating or not. Another advantage of this is that it is a video recording of people who are cheating and the process to ban these players are going to easier and more effective.

You told him "Nice kill" to gain his trust, don't feel bad about it, that compliment wasn't honest, it was for the interview.
There has been people flying, people below the fucking ground, THERE ARE INVISIBLE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT EVEN KNOW THEY ARE INVISIBLE SOMETIMES TOO.
i agree. i do not have many hours in tarkov, (started like a month ago) but the first time I had a clear indication of someone cheating, every encounter there was afterwards had that thought in the back of my mind "did he really see me? or was he a cheater?"
especially when I got into an encounter, survive, and run away, it becomes very clear who is cheating and who isnt. when chasing someone, if you want to keep yourself safe, you cannot catch up to someone who is running for their life and taking every risk. but if you are a cheater, you KNOW if you are safe to run after them or not. and you KNOW when they stop and camp a corner. when I was playing with a partner, cheaters would never chase me into his line of sight. not once. but the legit players OFTEN got dropped by him as I lay on the ground bleeding out nearby.
I quit after a few weeks of that. I wanted to keep playing with my friend, but I played ALOT and every day there were suspicious players. at least one who I was confident was cheating. it wasnt fun, so i found a new game.
you should do this in call of duty. the numbers are much much higher there.
@@EbonySeraphim

I feel you man. Thanks so much for the kind words. Glad this video resonated with you.
chess cheating is rampant aswell
@@bigballerbillionaire oh they got to that too, great, I guess I will just sell my PC now.
@@leeroyjenki1687 Chess cheating, both on PC and OTB has been prevalent for decades unfortunately.
There is a solution. No cheaters in Valorant.
To now know the probability of running into a cheater actually gives me inner peace atleast in those wtf moments wondering how did i just get deleted i can have the satisfaction knowing it's more likely to be some loser using hacks. Thanks for the content buddy. Subbed and liked 👊
