- It’s HERE!! My brand new single, “Anxious” is available now!! This song is very raw and honest. I wrote it coming out of a season where I was experiencing anxiety more than ever before. I wasn’t planning on releasing it as my single. It felt too vulnerable and too different from anything I’ve ever released. After showing some friends and my team, I knew it was something I needed to put out in the world.
If you struggle with anxiety or depression, just know that you are not alone. It doesn’t define you. I believe that you can and you will overcome this. It may be a process, but it’s time to come out of hiding and receive the healing and freedom that is available to you. I hope you enjoy this music video. Thank you for your support!

I used to cry the whole drive to work. I used to get an upset stomach constantly and spend countless time in the bathroom. More anxiety from being anxious. Tears. Racing heartbeat. Depression. No reason why. Anxiety.
Jesus set me free from anxiety both in a moment and in a season. He faithfully walked me through the battle against anxiety and didn’t just give me weapons to win the battle, but showed me how to use those weapons effectively.
It’s possible for you too. It’s possible to live completely free and in peace - even when everything around you isn’t. Your inside doesn’t have to be dictated by everything happening on the outside. It’s possible for you to not go through the motions and actually enjoy life. It’s possible for anxiety to stop having any future part in your story.
It was the hardest, messiest soul/heart/mind work I’ve ever done - but was the most worth it thing ever. You’re fighting from victory, not for it. If He did it for me He can do it for you - you are not the one exception that can’t be healed and set FREE!

I love how he speaks to us through music. He often plants a song in my heart so when i wake up that's the first thing running through my mind. Often times it's a song i haven't heard in many years. Music is powerful! The Lord gave us music to praise him but of course satan likes to use it too. I always tell my kids.... just like there is no middle, there is no grey. It's either serving satan or our heavenly father. Same goes for music. There is power in music. So it's important to be careful what we listen to. I have learned this ther hard way as many of us learn.
Set your eyes, and ears on no evil thing take every thought captive and surrender all to the Lord.

It was around this time two years ago that my depression began. The anxiety made me feel like every atom in my body was trying to break loose. I remember searching for answers all the time. Most of the time I found myself reading through comment sections like this one to find someone I could relate to. It’s hard to reach out to other Christians. I felt like my joy had been stolen from me and I envied their peace and joy-there proximity to God. Though God had not abandoned me, I was convinced he had. Still, I believe having experienced his love for me before, has gotten me through these years in this fight to feel closer to Him.
It comforts me to find a Christian artist willing to be honest about their mental health.

Yes 4 years of soul destroying anxiety, feeling like I was losing myself, no longer able to believe God loved and forgave me. All lies. Christian do go through this. It doesn't help when people say it shouldn't happen
I'm sorry to hear that and I hope you are doing better. I was in a similar situation and God led me to Sheila Walsh. I highly recommend her sermons here on RUclips and her books. As a Christian woman, she suffers with mental health and is very open about it. It is very sad that we go through this, but at the same time it feels validating (?) to know you're not the only one going through this valley. This is just part of our journey and not the end.

Tell that to Job and countless Psalmists, valleys and mountains are all apart of our life and growth. It happens, there IS such things right here on Earth, but God is our strength and our help. Yes, in the KINGDOM all tears will be gone, but we have not entered in yet. We’re still here on Earth, living with the highs and lows. I find statements like yours dismissive of the reality of depression and anxiety, as if it’s just down to the person struggling, their fault, they just need to pray more, they don’t have enough faith, they aren’t trusting in God enough. Sounds exactly like what Job’s friends said. I encourage you to listen to Jason Gray’s song ‘Not Right Now’ and understand that sometimes when people are going through something difficult, they don’t need you telling them what they’re doing wrong, that they’re not praying enough etc, they just need you to sit with them and just be, understand, listen, pray for and with them. Statements like God “only” gives this, that and the other causes someone to wonder why they are going through this then, what have they done wrong, when in reality, it’s nothing about what they’ve done, it just is what it is right now.

I’m so thankful this song exists. I’m sorry for all of us who struggle with these issues but this song articulates and puts words into the universe that I didn’t know how to really explain before? I’ve been living this way for years on and off, and it’s nice to be able to deliver a song to my family to help them possibly understand my place.

This is the best song for anxiety. The video and the sound of the music describe it best. How it is to suffer from this. Especially the Refrain shows how I feel all the time.
I have been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety my whole life but its been really bad since Jan 2022. There are some days better than other and some days where I feel like I could die with how much fear consumes me. I wake up every day and do a routine to spend time with God and music. I came across this song a week ago and started bawling. Thank you so much for making this song, I can really relate to my mind is the devil's playground. I pray for everyone who goes through this disabling mental illness. Many days I feel God has left me to suffer, but I continue to keep his promises in my mind.

@@user-sx5yu7um5d Im glad you spoke up. I will be praying for you. There are different kinds of anxieties. The anxiety i battled with was social. It can be caused by people picking and laughing at you and not being able to fit in. The anxiety I faced is different than what she battled with but its still the same feelings. I feel a difference now from last year and over the years from praying about it and probably people that took notice and was praying behind the scene. I still want full recovery to be able to step out in front of alot of people one day to sing or speak without that nervous feeling. Chrystina it doesnt sound like you was always like this. There could have been alot of things happening in your life at some point all at one time and it was overwhelming. Whatever it was that caused those bad feelings I believe GOD can replace it with HIS peace and joy. Please lets pray for one another.

GOD created all things so as I believe as we run to the ONE who created all things and we put our focus on HIM i believe things can break off of our lives and HE can also show us mysteries to solve any problem we have. This is nothing to HIM. We are already delivered.

An anxious story:
for several nights I was very anxious about my job because it is my first proper Job after moving from part time to full time staff, the company was supposed to double my payment but instead they give me less. They asked if i accept it. I was scared to say no because I'm afraid I can't find another jobs. I even try to look for another job. I keep praying for answer if i should accept that offer of find another job. A night before the day i need to give them the answer, i believe it was the holly spirit asking me this question instead of giving the answer i expected:
Why do you have to be so scared? I am God I'm with you.
This question helped me realized why do i have to be afraid of human that bad instead of God?
If God want me to quit it means he want me have a better Job.
He is God and he is with us? What do i have to be so afraid of?

I have been taking a spiritual journey search since 2017, after so much craziness in my life.
l have various daily practices have adopted but one stands out, Living in the Present a.k.a learning to still this over the drive mind to be in the same place where the body is each time. My best teacher at this with simple tips has been Eckhart Tolle.

Never ever give up Sarah! Please don’t let anyone change who you are in Christ. Do not compromise your convictions; stay meek and humble and beautiful. Sing for the Lord!
I’ve struggled most of my life with anxiety and depression. How did you write a song so like my life? A song so like my feelings and thoughts. My bed was my only refuge; sleep was my only escape from the Devil’s lies. The pressure and tension was exhausting, I couldn’t take it, and I couldn’t fight it. I felt isolated and alone, unloved and unlovable, hopeless, helpless, and worthless. I didn’t want to live, I didn’t want help, and I gave up.
I never said anything to anyone about my mental health issues.
I have attempted suicide three times in my life, and twice made a plan to commit suicide but didn’t carry it out. My last attempt was 17 days before you posted this video. For the first time in my life I sought professional help. And with the help of Jesus I’m making progress.
Am I perfect? No! Do I still have bouts of depression and anxiety? Yes. But not as much, I have medication now and the support of my family, friends, a therapist, psychiatrist, and most importantly God by my side. I’m not giving in to the Devil.
Remember Sarah’s song “Broken Things”. Throw down that mirror of you. You have nothing to prove. We just need You (Jesus). When we’re a mess, that’s when He’s the best, wait on Jesus, trust in Him.
