Peaky, a wonderful seventeen minute summary of Glenavon, fair play for condensing it so well. I too find Mourneview to be the best away ground to watch a match, great views from every single seat.
Great video Peaky. To answer the question at 4:55, I think there's no doubt that Glenavon were the major beneficiaries of Belfast Celtic's unfortunate demise. Without Harry Walker, Jimmy McAlinden and especially Jimmy Jones, we might've won a few trophies, but I doubt we'd have been able to get those 3 league titles over the line and break the Belfast dominance. It's just a shame that it took one of the darkest chapters in Irish football history for it to happen.
I’m Gonna get a belfast Celtic video done. Also need Linfield and Glens. They are the 3 biggest ones which is why I haven’t tackled them. They will be so hard.
Should be floating around. Not sure about video though. I’d like to pick a team to follow. Might do Celtic actually cause it would do decent views from Scotland.
Love these videos mate, great to see the return of them and much like you i do love goin to mourneview. as i said to ya before them and ballymena are enigmas wrapped in mystery. they can destroy a top 6 team one week then get slapped the next, and it must drive Gazza Hamilton nuts, again a great man. pat mcallister, theres a blast from the past i havent heard mentioned in many many moons. and yeah, dont mention the moira roundabout saturday to glenavon or the ports lol.
Alan Campbell in the clip you show as Glenavon manager was a long serving left back for Coleraine in his playing days. Glad you mentioned Wilbur Cush and Jimmy Jones otherwise Glenavon fans would have murdered you. Decent wee video
A great video. Some really good knowledge about the blues, but as a Glenavon fan please please please never do a video about 1994 😢. Heartbreaking even to this day.
@@ThePeakys Dont thinks he's as passionate as Kenny Shiels was when he was at Ballymena, Coleraine beat Ballymena and Kenny nearly took the door off the hinges in the away dressing room
@@ThePeakys I think we are getting some good players in hopefully get back to our attacking style of play rather than goalkeeper then 30 passes to get to half way line

Only visited Glenavon once - in a fundraiser for Mark Farren. Us DCFC fans got such a warm welcome that night.
Lovely ground mate.

What a video, and what a story! You are getting better at this all the time. Never change!
Anyway, cracking video. Keep em coming... Coleraine FC's loss is everyone else's gain.... 👍
Less stress 🤣
Great video, looking fwd to knowing what happened in 1994 that you didn’t discuss

The power of the internet. I had to stop researching cause it turns out there is a lot of history.
You said Anyway almost as many times as Ian Junior has been to the Maldives. 😁
When I was editing it I couldn’t believe how many times I said it - and I edited out a few as well 🤣
Very good pal …… ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Thank you
Talk about Packie I wish he was still with Coleraine (some skipper from I remember) either as a player or back room staff
He has been about the lower leagues as a manager. Still as passionate as ever.
