I went to the hospital with Covid near the end of 2021. I didn’t think I was gonna leave, life seemed to be forever over and changed from the pandemic. When I got home and started to recover I discovered this song and it’s always been a song of hope for me.
i still remember the first gig i played. it was a heavy dubstep gig in 2015 and only 3 people showed up other than my mates. my girlfriend (now my wife) was at the door taking the few tickets that came in, and we ended up almost getting the club shut down the week after due to the noise complaints. it was back when i had no perception of too loud, and back when the only people i had running up to me screaming "PLAY DEATHSTEP" were my homies. cant wait to get back to that (except being a loudness fiend haha)
