First of all, God bless you Lady Terryow100. You are so intelligent and blessed with universal teaching qualities. What a clean or clear voice that you have, you are so talented lady. You have the intelligence of a professional teacher or professor. The voice and class off a great person, most likely from the UK. Miss Terry, I would listen to you everyday. Why? Because you are the best of the very best. You are very straightforward and wise. Thanks a million for this classic tutorial .

Your tutorial is the best I have seen for a beginner who doesn't know that Paint came free with their Windows PC. You took time to show two different ways to find Paint and start it. It's almost like Mr. Gates wanted to keep it hidden.

You are so kind. It is a shame more people don't know about paint, as it can be very useful.

Thank you so much for helping me do something so simple as copy a part of the picture & paste it into another part of the picture. I wasn't able to find this explained so simply on any other Paint tutorial , I'm very grateful to you.

I wish you had been my teacher in school. For years paint just sat on my computer like an old junkyard dog. Now I think paint is excellent for editing my facebook page.

thanks for your comment. Yes it is really good for basic editing. If you get really keen, the next step up is Gimp. Gimp is a free multi layer editing program. It's similar to photoshop, except it's free

Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Made Masterpiece Remedy (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning professional photo editing minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin finally got excellent results with it.

I found this really creepy photo in my screenshots 3:00 am est (it's 3:18 now) when I brightened it as much as I could, I can see it's a hallway that looks like something from an old PlayStation horror game, and I still can't see whatever's at the end of the hall. But anyway, I don't remember taking the photo and it was super creepy coming across it this late at night.

Pole coming out of head. What to do? So you have a great photo of your special person and, darn, if there isn't a light pole coming out of the top of her head. Looks really stupid. With "Paint" you can COPY some other part of the photo, maybe a bit of the blue sky, maybe a mountainside, maybe some leafy tree branches, whatever works, and PASTE it over the light pole. Go to Select. Click "Transparent Selection," Click "Freeform Selection," Draw the freeform shape you want to drag over the pole, Right Click, Click Copy, Click Paste. The shape appears in the top left corner. Drag it over the pole. Hopefully, it works. You might think you can simply color over the pole with blue using the color matching function, but the colors tend not to match well. This copy-paste method can be used to remove anything in a photo that can be pasted over gracefully with something else from the photo.

Your probably right. I'm afraid this video is quite a few years old now, and I am not up to date with paint any more. These days I do gimp and have just started doing some up to date gimp you tubes.

personally I would use gimp. It's a free program very similar to photoshop. This is a very basic old you tube which might help ruclips.net/video/2dgD58cJAS0Y/видео.htmlou can repair ripped photos with gimp, and this you tube helps show how using layersruclips.net/video/FEkBxBO4j1E/видео.html

ELECTROSHOCK!!!!! can you timestamp this noteworthy offense? I would like to hear it if I dare. I too also agree that when someone mispronounces one syllable it means they require more learning before being able to claim to be able to speak correctly. A lot of people assume they just mispronounced something as a "one-off" but like you I always assume it's an indicator of a much larger problem and the person cant actually speak correctly, and requires additional learning to reach a level that is acceptable withing modern day society and people like you and I. What if it was an emergency and someone was saying "help", but to you or I it sounded like "halp" or "hilp", it could cause confusion and even death. Keep up the brave work

If you're so good at English you should be an English major instead of correcting other persons and if you're that smart you should not be on the paint program since you already know it all
