I now have an insignia estate , I had a Signum that needed a rear spring , I found it easier to take off the lower shock absorber bolt and force the wishbone down
William boss I am trying to fix my dad's vaxuhall insignia and the waste is very low at the back with a Empty boot and right tyre pressure in the back . Can you tell me is your the same pal and is it just the spring you I have to fix thank you mate please
Hey William, I have the same insignia estate and I noticed you have an automatic boot lid. Any chance there is a video on how to fit this onto my beaut as it is a cool addition . Mine is 2016
have wanted to check the shock absorbers and at the same time, may be a contributing factor to the spring breaking, and a financial advantage and replaced both at once, applies to any shock absorbers and Bad solotuon and use time to weld the spring , wil never vorks of long time
Thanks for tge video mate, I'm planning on changing bot rear springs tomorrow 👍
Nice one, hope it helps.
It definitely did 👊

Hello, I’m not sure I 100% follow what you mean?

This was fitted to my vehicle from factory maybe an optional extra. Not sure it can be retro fit. If it can it wouldn’t be cheap
@William Murfitt thank you for getting back to me. Your channel has helped me loads with my insignia
@@jamiecardey2834 that’s awesome, thanks very much

Poor road conditions are to blame with this broken spring. Replacement part and back on the road!
Springs, shock absorbers and brakes are always swapped in pairs.
Quick and easy job apart from getting it upside down😂
Nightmare but 2nd time round it was gone in under 10minutes
May seem like a silly question but how can you tell if spring upside down?
An easy mistake to make a job well done
