Our dairy goat herd goes nuts over peanut hay. They love alfalfa but go absolutely bonkers over peanut hay and will turn up their noses at the alfalfa in favor of peanut hay, given the choice. They like the crunch of peanut hay..its like goat potato chips lol. We have a farm in N FL..planning to try planting some. Maybe start small and build up from there. Theres a decent amt of protein and calcium in peanut hay.
We have a mower/conditioner with steel roller crimpers. Was wondering if it would be to aggressive for the leaves. We have Pensacola Bahia and some Bermuda now. Looking to maybe add the peanut hay.
I’ve recently started to raise goats. And would also like to plant peanut hay in their pastures. I live on a five acre plot in North FL and peanut hay is hard to come by. I would like purchase seed to plant in my pastures for foraging. Will this continue grow if it’s not cut down and only used for goats to graze on? Do you sell seed?
I have a small piece of property that I manage for wildlife. My agricultural experience runs to planting food plots, but I treat them like crops. I am looking at possibly acquiring the neighbor's property, which has about 80 acres of pasture. I'm interested in learning more, because I may look into farming a piece of the pasture that I don't convert back for wildlife. I have a million questions and would love to bend your ear. I really want to learn more about this, as it was suggested by a forestry guy I know who said it would compliment the deer management I'm doing. I'm further north than you, but supposedly the Eco variety would work for me. Any way we could chat? email or phone?
This video also will help sells, if you, check posts, I would like to get some, but it's so rare here in opilka Alabama, would even try to grow some to help feed my goats, , but I'm disabled, and I couldn't grow but about a 40x40 spot lol, need some seeds .

Do you water them with fluoridated water? If so, does that affect the bacteria on the roots?

It's not seeded. It's sprigged. Just plant it in your lawn or grazing area.
Would you share the variety via email?
I thought I heard him say ecoturf but tito and peace are fantastic
