Evening both , thanks for another enjoyable vlog. Arran has plenty of surprises but I agree that one visit would be enough. Just a bit of info re the rock you saw out at sea is Ailsa Craig and is half a billion years old and the granite mined there was used to make the curling stones. I worked in South Ayrshire for a while and the rock was visible from every golf hole on the course I played. Its local name is Paddy’s milestone as it is half way between Glasgow and Belfast. It is now a world famous bird colony and home to many puffins. Look forward to the next instalment ❤❤🚐🏴🍷🍷PS the lighthouse is now holiday accommodation Al
Hope this doesn't mean you're about to disappear my lovelies . It would be a very sad day if you did . I understand the cost involved in the travel , as you know we do about 10.000 miles a year . Your 's is the only channel I've watched continuously for the last 5/6 years . However I'll continue doing so whatever content you put out . Great vlog both , take care .
Hi there Al, many thanks for taking the time to leave the informative comment, we had no idea about Ailsa Craig, so thank you👍; we should have asked you to record some commentary for us👍😂. Sounds like you've walked up and down a golf club a few times, great Many thanks again buddy, we'll pin your comment to the top for folks to see. Many thanks as always our friend and all the very best. 👍💙❤️🚐📷🏴!
Nearly missed your comment mate, you answered under Al's lol. No, we have no intention at the moment of quitting, but with the visa process here still restricting our ability to work in France, our finances are tighter than they've ever been (we'll share our experience in a later vid). Yes, definitely one if our longest and loyal subscribers and we'll be forever thankful for all your support, help and inspiration over the years. Thank you as always our friend and take care. Tony and Claire. Xx
@adventurevanfreddie glad to here lovelies , we're back over in France on the 30th of this month , D day commemorations first then a little soiree around Normandy and Brittany . .
The museum is great isn’t it - especially when the weather isn’t so good. Thanks for showing us around brought back fond memories - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Hi there David and Rachel, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment...sorry for the late reply. Indeed, what a great little museum, a brilliant collection and a good way to avoid the bad weather; we're glad that the vid brought back good memories. Many thanks again and all the very best, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷
Hi there, many thanks for watching. Great, have a fantastic time on Arran. It's a small island but still 'packs a punch' for exploring. Safe travels when you get to them and all the very best. Tony and Claire.
Hi both. Sorry to hear you'll be cutting back on your adventures, but totally understand. I'm sure everyone will agree and thank you for giving us some great ideas of places to stay, and park ups over the years, and hope you'll still be able to visit some of your favourite places in the future still 🤞. Pity about the walk you couldn't do, but we agree, that weather looked very menacing and you didn't want to feature in news at ten🚁🏔️⛈️😁. Also a shame about not been able to see the other dinosaur footprint, we were so looking forward to another rendition from Claire of a prehistoric creature 🦖🦕🤣(Sorry Claire). Any way, looking forward to your next video, whenever it may be. Take care, and hope to see you on the road one day.👩🦲👩🦳🐕🚐🙂👍
Hi there buddy. Thank you for the kind words, it's very much appreciated👍. We'll do our best to continue with the adventures and the channel, it's something we enjoy doing, we've just got to watch the pennies. Yes, definitely not the weather to hike up Goatfell, a little risky on the best of days. 🤣😂, indeed, no need to appear on the news at ten, how embarrassing would that be🤔👍. Haha, no dinosaur noises this week from Claire (she had a giggle reading this). And you, take care and hope to bump into you on the road sometime. All the best as always, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷🏴
Morning Tony and Claire I am late to the party this week. Have been feeling a bit under the weather 🤢. Anyway great wee video as always the weather can change so quickly in Scotland we have had rain and wind this week it’s time it was getting warmer. Museum looked interesting and I am sure passed some time for you guys. Hopefully you guys will be on another adventure soon. As always take care and stay safe ❤👌👌
Ooow, bloody hell, we hope you feel better soon our lovely👍🙏 and let's hope that summer arrives on the Isle of Skye soon; the sun always makes us all feel better☀️💙❤️. Yes, the museum was absolutely fantastic and a great way to spend time walking around whilst the Scottish weather 'done its thing'....we certainly got all 4 seasons in a day, but that's why we love your homeland 💙❤️🏴. Yes, we'll be on another adventure soon. Get well our friend, stay cosy and we're sending our best wishes to you as always. Take care, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Nice vid guys Sorry to hear you are cutting back But totally understand, time and cost keep rising in this mad world We are in at the mo. But keep em coming 📸 when you can Guys. See ya soon. ❤️from 🏴
Hi there Gareth. We'll continue to do our best we can to maintain the channel and continue to make content, but like you say, costs for everything keeps rising. It's not over yet lol. Many thanks as always and take care our friend. Best wishes, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷
Well Hellloooo T&C. Great insight into Arran! Can almost small the cotton on the bedding in the little museum!..Takes me back to when we lived at my grandparents farm in Peterhead back in the 60s while my dad was away fighting in Borneo. I fcan totally relate and feel your pain when you said you cant afford to fuel any further big travels in Freddie as you have enjoyed in the recent past. We are still knee-deep in the complete refurb of our tiny 400 yr old cottage which is properly draining our pockets quicker than i can fill them so any notion of getting out into our campervan seems just too far away at the mo. Will have to get the Historic England Gestapo out soon...and that will almost certainly cost us even more once they stick their beaks in 😂
Hi there buddy, hope you're well. 👍🤣, yep, the museum definitely had a smell of the past....in a pleasant way., great place. It's funny how a smell can bring back memories👍🤔. Indeed, although from the outside looking in, we must seem to be living the highlife, however, the whole Brexit/visa system has certainly been cruel on our finances. Not being able to work here in France for another 3 years is tough on the pocket and living on less the minimum wage for one person means that adventures will not be as frequent as we would like (maybe we'll do a video to explain lol). Ooow bugger, sounds like you're having fun with your renovation, let's hope the authorities don't get involved and that you can get out and about soon👍. Keep up the hard work, it will be all worth it in the end. Take care and all the very best as always. Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷
Hi again both of you. Another fabulous Vlog. We’ve just put some more diesel in our van and we’re getting 32 to the gallon, nearly as good as our old car did, but agree it not cheap travelling. Also topped up the LPG, but that only cost £7 and that was a months travelling with our van Frankie. Your vlogs keep inspiring us, so hope there’s still many more to come. Taker care.
Hi there, many thanks for taking the time to leave the comment. Yep, we probably get around the same MPG out of Freddie and you're right, it's definitely not cheap our friend. Thank you for your kind words of support, they're truly appreciated by us both. Take care and all the best, catch you on the road sometime.
Well guys, sorry to say I'm back, after a nice holiday and visiting family it's been awhile 😁. We just love to take a ferry ⛴️,and Arron is a great wee day out on a summer's day, although the mess the Scottish government are making with the ferry s who knows if we will get this year.(Can you believe we had to go to Turkey to get our last 2 ferry,s built 😢. what a mess) Anyway for some reason I've missed that wonderful little museum 🖼️, definitely next time. As many have said I'm sorry to hear that you're going to have to do less traveling, but fully understand, and don't get me started on why food and fuel costs are so high 😢. But we would still watch you even if it's just you two playing ludo in France, and Claire showing Tony how the game is played 😂 God bless you both, and as my old wonderful mother-in-law used to say,"you have always got each other 😊"😎🕊️🏴
Hi there Douglas, hope you're well and sorry for the late reply. Good to have you back, hope you're holiday was a good one and that you had nice time with your family👍. Yep, a familiar story throughout the UK!!! It's incredible how the UK was the forefront of the Industrial Revolution, and here we are a mere 200 years later having to import......nearly everything😡; like you say, "what a mess"! Ah, the museum is definitely worth a visit if you get the chance, it was a great way to spend the day a learn about life on Arran throughout the years. Ahhh, thank you so much for your kind words regarding our future travel restrictions, it's definitely not something we want to do, however, with us both not able to work in France for another 3 years, the finances are a little tight to say the least. We are not going to give up just yet though👍🚐. Haha, Claire showing me how to play Ludo.....that will be the day😂🤣👍. Thank you again our loyal friends and bless you both as always. All the very best, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷🏴
Hi guys. Nice vid again. Pity you couldn't get out on your walk up in the hills. The weather has a big part to play in any journey especially on the islands. Still plenty to see even i f you are just around town. Take care guys.
Hi there Geoff, many thanks for watching another one. Yes, we really wanted to climb Goatfell, however, not in that weather lol; we certainly wouldn't be getting our photography equipment out up there....too miserable. Yep, the beauty of the islands is how quickly the weather changes, fascinating. There's always another time. And you our friend, take care, have a great week and all the very best as always. Tony and Claire.
Thanks for all the videos you are doing for us all, they are lovely. I hope you keep doing the videos, you do visit some amazing places, but it must be expensive travelling all the time. Keep them coming and take care see you next time 😊😊
Thank you so much for your kind words, they're really appreciated by us both. We'll try our hardest to continue and maybe we'll share our current position in a later video. Thank you again and we wish you all the very best. Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐📷🏴

Another great review of Arran. Well done folks 😊👍💪. Hope you are both well and as always slàinte 💙🤎🥃🥃🥃🙏🫶
👍, thank you Steven, glad you enjoyed it and not a castle, monastery or abbey in sight🤣😂. Slainte as always our good friend. 👍🏴💙❤️🚐🥃🥃🥃
