Your video saved me some valuable time. My vip 81 machine, just bought, was not pulling the water from the container. But after I used your method, the water pump is functional.
    Grazzie mille

    This channel is super useful!
Recently I got a (repackaged) PL92T, but it was dead on arrival: the LCC and pressure gauge had fallen out of place. Another video showed me how to open the machine (these torx screws were way too tight!) and put the LCC assembly back in place, with the screws properly screwed in.
Then the machine wouldn't pump water to fill the boilers. This video taught me that I probably had to prime the pump (there was some water in the pipe, so I just blew hard into it!), and that I had to reset the LCC to restart filling the boilers.
Then it worked, and the very first coffee was even not too bad. :)
You saved me days or weeks since I didn't have to send back the (heavy!) machine to an otherwise unresponsive support team.
    Thank you!!!

I had exact the same problem when unpacking my brand new PL82T. I doubted the pump maybe broken at that time. Foutunately I found some useful clips in RUclips using the similar method that this clip showed.

Thanks so much for this insight! I just bought a pl81t and first tried with a 5ml syringe, but that was to little water. I tried a bigger can (I had one with bike oil - small tip). I cleaned the can, filled it with water and applied it to the hose. Worked phenomenal! Thanks for the hint! (@Lelit: you really should work on that problem! In my opinion a machine in this price segment should be working from the start).

you should never use a used oil can though. Impossible to clean from residuals. Not healthy and probably not good for the machine

This helped me more than ever possible. I used a big syringe to get the water going in the tube. Cheers!

Thanks! It also worked with a normal funnel. I just held it above the machine so that the water would run down to into the boiler, but no additional pressure from a syringe or else was needed.

Its incredible that I bought this brand new in Victoria model and the pump is not working!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS? This is how all Italian manufactured low quality made in Italy works. The same way as happens with Italian cars. That is why Germany in number one.

This is so sad. Lelit knews this problem but just ignore it. I got 2 new devices with this problem. Lelit should fix it before delivering it to the customer. Or shift the machine together with the plastic can and the warning.

    Hi!
Question, i bought the Lelit Elizabeth, did the first boiler fill.
But now the pump keeps on pumping water and the lelit logo keeps on blinking.
Did you ever encountered this and know a solution?
    Thanks in advance!

The pump is rinsing the group, after 60 seconds the machine will start

the problem is that after the rinsing, the water stops but the pump keeps on going and the logo still blinking, so i can't start making a coffeee. even more then 4 minutes this pump goes on@@lelitinsider2977

    Thank you for this video!!
I had this pump problem with my new Lelit PL92 and I was almost sending it back. Now it works.
But I‘m wondering, if I could have damaged the heating element, because I turned on the machine three times without reset and without pushing water to the pump before I saw this video. It was turned on for probably 2 minutes each time and I could feel that the boiler gets warm, then I turned off.
It is working now fine, but could I have damaged something like the heating element which may cause problems soon? Mille Grazie!

      Hey Jörg,
there's been some time - but maybe you or someone else is wondering.
I had the same issue - the machine "overheated" indeed - but has some kind of fuse for that. Its fairly easy to reset by the costumer. (A greyish pin under the heating plate)

I had the same issue and will now write to the retailer about this issue, just to inform them about it, if any damage will result from it, but for now I cannot see any effect.

Thanks for the video! I had the same problem with water for the coffee (button on top) and I was able to fix it. Anyways, there’s still no (hot) water coming out of the hot water button (button on bottom) - not water at all. What is the use of the pipe? Maybe someone can help me :) Grazie/Thanks

I will check tomorrow if I'll remember^^ Haven't used the water button yet, but good question actually.
If you just need hot water, you can also open the wheel on the right when the temperature is not in steam mode. Hot water will come out of the steam wand (in case you didn't know already...)
